Claims
- 1. A device for delivering fuel to at least one atomizer of a combustion engine, in which the pump chamber of at least one fuel pump arranged in a pump housing has a displacement volume adjustable by actuating means, communicates through an inlet valve with a fuel supply and through an outlet valve with a fuel delivery part to be connected with the atomizer of the combustion engine and is defined in part by a one displacer body caused to reciprocate by at least one electro-magnet, the electro-magnet and the pump being mounted on a common frame plate, characterized in that the pump is mounted on the frame plate with the interposition of heat-insulating material.
- 2. A device for delivering fuel to eight atomizers of a combustion engine, in which the pump chambers of eight fuel pumps each have a displacement volume adjustable by actuating means, each pump chamber communicating through an inlet valve with a fuel supply and through an outlet valve with a fuel delivery part to be connected with a respective atomizer of the combustion engine and each pump chamber being defined in part by a displacer body caused to reciprocate by driving means, the actuating means comprising a plurality of wedge-shaped stops each of which is actuated by a control-member, characterized in that the control-member is coupled with each of the wedge-shaped stops through a common, rotatably journalled control-roller and a plurality of flexible members coupling said roller with the stops.
- 3. A device for delivering fuel to eight atomizers of a combustion engine, in which the pump chambers of the eight fuel pumps have each displacement volumes adjustable by actuating means, each pump chamber communicating through an inlet valve with a fuel supply and through an outlet valve with a fuel delivery part to be connected with a respective atomizer of the combustion engine and each pump chamber being defined in part by a displacer body caused to reciprocate by driving means formed by a respective armature caused to reciprocate between a respective pair of alternately energized electro-magnets, characterized in that above each quadrant of a common frame plate an armature extends transversely of the frame plate between two electro-magnets and is connected with a coupling member, which extends near and parallel to the central longitudinal plane of the frame plate and which is provided at each end with a piston, each of which forms a displacer body.
- 4. A device as claimed in claim 3 characterized in that in the central longitudinal plane a pump housing set comprising four pump chambers is arranged centrally of the frame plate and two pump housing sets comprising each two pump chambers are arranged at the ends of the frame plate.
- 5. A device as claimed in claim 3 or 4 characterized in that the wedge-shaped stops are disposed in the central longitudinal plane.
