Claims
- 1. A paper or cardboard machine for at least one of controlling and regulating a basis weight of a paper or cardboard web in a manufacturing process, comprising:at least one headbox that extends across a machine width, the at least one headbox being arrange to provide a machine-wide distribution of a material suspension onto one of a screen and between two screens; at least one material suspension supply being coupled to the at least one headbox and being arrange to supply a material suspension to the at least one headbox, the at least one material suspension supply having at least one concentration; at least one first control loop including at least one actuator being arranged to adjust the at least one concentration of the at least one material suspension supply, at least one detector being arranged for determining a basis weight of a finished web, at least one supply being arranged to modify the at least one concentration of the at least one material suspension supply, and at least one device being arranged to adjust the at least one actuator, whereby the at least one concentration of the at least one material suspension supply is adjusted; and at least one second control loop, comprising at least one sensor which is located within a wet area of the paper or cardboard machine, being arranged to regulate a concentration of the at least one material suspension supply.
- 2. The paper or cardboard machine in accordance with claim 1, the at least one sensor being arranged to determine the basis weight of a resulting web one of directly and indirectly.
- 3. The paper or cardboard machine in accordance with claim 1, wherein the at least one first control loop is independent of the at least one second control loop.
- 4. The paper or cardboard machine in accordance with claim 1, further comprising at least one second actuator being adapted to regulate an amount of thick matter to be supplied to the headbox; andthe second control loop being coupled to the at least one second actuator.
- 5. The paper or cardboard machine in accordance with claim 1, the at least one material suspension supply comprising two material supplies with a high and low material concentration, respectively.
- 6. The paper or cardboard machine in accordance with claim 5, one of the two material supplies comprising an regulatable input being adapted to receive one of a thickening and a thinning fluid; andthe regulatable input being coupled to and regulated by the second control loop.
- 7. The paper or cardboard machine in accordance with claim 6, the one of the two material supplies with the low material concentration having the regulatable input.
- 8. The paper or cardboard machine in accordance with claim 6, the one of the two material supplies with the high material concentration having the regulatable input.
- 9. The paper or cardboard machine in accordance with claim 5, at least one of the two material supplies comprising a plurality of branches coupled to the headbox; andeach branch being adapted to control an amount of flow.
