- 3. A diesel engine of the two-stroke type which has been modified from the clock diagram below: ##STR1## by changing the characteristics of the piston, cylinder, cylinder sleeve, scavenging ports, connecting rod, crankshaft throw, and timing to conform to the clockwork diagram below: ##STR2##

The method of modifying a two-stroke diesel engine having the clockwork characteristics of the figure below: comprising the steps of modifying the piston, piston rod, crankshaft throw, cylinder liner and intake ports, and exhaust stroke of the same to conform to the clockwork diagram below: ##STR3##
