This application relates to the field of hairdressing tools and, more particularly, to a diffuser for a hair dryer.
Hair dryers on the market can be used for drying hair and assisting in hair styling. A hair drier may be equipped with a heat drying shield (e.g., also known as a diffuser). The diffuser can guide air flow out of the hair dryer, to achieve a better wind effect. The diffuser, when mounted on a hair dryer to dry the hair, can be used to dry curly hair without making the curly hair messy, so that the original curly hair shape can be maintained after the hair is dried. However, comb teeth of the existing diffusers are fixed, and the length of the comb teeth cannot be adjusted. A user may need to replace the diffuser with different comb teeth lengths if the user has thick or long hair, which leads to poor user experience and high cost of purchasing diffusers having different comb lengths. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a technical solution to solve the above problem.
In accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a diffuser for a hair dryer. The diffuser includes a main body case, an adjusting part rotatably mounted at the main body case, and a comb-tooth part mounted at the adjusting part and including a plurality of comb teeth. A rotation of the adjusting part relative to the main body case drives the plurality of comb teeth to move telescopically relative to the main body case, to adjust a length of a portion of each of the plurality of comb teeth protruding out of the main body case.
Also in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided hair dryer assembly including a hair dryer and a diffuser.

According to some embodiments of the present disclosure, the adjusting part 20 is rotatably mounted at the main body case 10, the supporting ring 31 is movably mounted at the adjusting part 20, and the adjusting structure is connected between the adjusting part 20 and the supporting ring 31. To adjust the length of a portion of each of the plurality of comb teeth 32 protruding outside the main body case 10, the adjusting part 20 rotates relative to the main body case 10. The rotation of the adjusting part 20 can cause, through the adjusting structure, the comb teeth 32 on the supporting ring 31 to move telescopically relative to the main body case 10 to protrude out of or retract into the main body case 10, so as to adjust a length of a portion the comb teeth 32 protruding outside the main body case 10. Compared to existing technologies, the present disclosure can realize the adjustment of the length of the comb teeth, without switching to another diffuser having different comb tooth length, thereby improving the convenience and user experience in using the diffuser. In addition, there is no need to purchase additional diffusers of different comb tooth lengths, thereby reducing users' purchase cost.
As shown in
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the adjusting part 20 includes a bottom rotatable ring 21 and an outer rotatable ring 22. The outer rotatable ring 22 is disposed at an outer side of the bottom rotatable ring 21 and extends upward. The adjusting groove 23 is disposed at an inner side surface of the outer rotatable ring 22. The supporting ring 31 includes a first supporting ring 311. The first supporting ring 311 may be movably mounted in the outer rotatable ring 22. The adjusting protrusion 33 is disposed at an outer side surface of the first supporting ring 311. For example, through the bottom rotatable ring 21 and the outer rotatable ring 22, the first supporting ring 311 can be mounted in the outer rotatable ring 22, and the outer rotatable ring 22 can limit the position of the first supporting ring 22, thereby improving the stability of the first supporting ring 311 during an up-down movement of the first supporting ring 311. In some embodiments, the first supporting ring 311 and the outer rotatable ring 22 are arranged with clearance fit, which can avoid or reduce looseness of the first supporting ring 311.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the adjusting groove 23 may be inclined from a bottom to a top along the inner side surface of the outer rotatable ring 22. In some other embodiments, the adjusting groove 23 may be spirally arranged with respect to a central axis of the outer rotatable. In some other embodiments, the adjusting groove 23 may be a special-shaped groove capable of realizing at least two height displacements.
The supporting ring 31 further includes a second supporting ring 312 and a third supporting ring 313. A diameter of the second supporting ring 312 may be smaller than a diameter of the first supporting ring 311. A diameter of the third supporting ring 313 may be smaller than a diameter of the second supporting ring 312. A center of the first supporting ring 311, a center of the second supporting ring 312, and a center of the third supporting ring 313 may coincide with each other. A plurality of connecting blocks 314 may be connected between the first supporting ring 311 and the second supporting ring 312. The plurality of comb teeth 32 are arranged as a circular array. Each of the plurality of comb teeth 32 is connected to the second supporting ring 312 and the third supporting ring 313. Each of the plurality of comb teeth 32 includes a first air channel 321 penetrating the top surface and bottom surface of the corresponding comb tooth 32. The first supporting ring 311, the second supporting ring 312, and the third supporting ring 313 can reduce the overall weight of the comb-tooth part 30. In addition, rationally arranging the second support ring 312 with a smaller diameter than the first support ring 311 and arranging the third support ring 313 with a smaller diameter than the second support ring 312 can skillfully make the plurality of comb teeth 32 avoid the position of the bottom rotating ring body 21, so that the air can be discharged from the first air channel 321.
As shown in
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, a plurality of fixed comb teeth 123 may be disposed at the ventilation screen 121. The plurality of fixed comb teeth 123 may have similar structures to the plurality of comb teeth 32. Each of the plurality of fixed comb teeth 123 include a second air channel 1231 penetrating a top surface and a bottom surface of the corresponding fixed comb tooth 123. The plurality of fixed comb teeth 123 may be disposed at an inner side of the plurality of comb teeth 32 and arranged in a circular array and. The bottom case 11 and the top cover 12 may be snap fitted with each other. For example, the snap-fit assembly between the bottom case 11 and the top cover 12 can be achieved by providing protrusions on the bottom case 11 and providing grooves on the upper cover 12 for the protrusions to be inserted into.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the bottom case 11 includes a first limiting ring 113 and a second limiting ring 114. The adjusting part 20 can be rotatably mounted between the first limiting ring 113 and the second limiting ring 114. For example, the adjusting part 20 may be mounted to the bottom case 11 through the structure of the first limiting ring 113 and the second limiting ring 114, and the adjusting part 20 is rotatably disposed between the first limiting ring 113 and the second limiting ring 114. The first supporting ring 311 can be movably mounted in the outer rotatable ring 22, to limit the up and down displacement of the comb-tooth part 30. As such, the adjusting part 20 and the comb-tooth part 30 can be reasonably and ingeniously assembled with each other. The components can be reliably assembled and are not prone to loosening during use, thereby improving user experience. In addition, it is also very convenient to adjust the length of the comb teeth.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the limiting structure 13 may be installed in the bottom case 11. After the adjusting part 20 rotates a certain distance to adjust the length of the plurality of comb teeth 32, the limiting structure 13 can limit the position of the adjusting part 20, so as to ensure that the adjusting part 20 will not rotate to change the exposed length of the plurality of comb teeth 32, and the plurality of comb teeth 32 can be fixed at the required length. For example, the limiting structure 13 may include a fixing sleeve 131, an elastic column 132, and a spring 133. The fixing sleeve 131 is mounted at the bottom case 11. The fixing sleeve 131 includes a mounting hole 1311 on one surface of the fixing sleeve 131. The elastic column 132 can be telescopically mounted in the mounting hole 1311. The spring 133 is disposed in the mounting hole 1311. One end of the spring 133 is connected to the elastic column 132 and another end of the spring 133 is connected to the fixed sleeve 121. A plurality of limiting grooves 25 may be disposed at an outer side of the adjusting part 20 for the elastic column 132 to be inserted. The plurality of limiting grooves 25 may be arranged in an array surrounding the adjusting part 20. After the adjusting part 20 rotates to adjust the length of the portion of each of the plurality of comb teeth 32 protruding out of the main body case 10, the elastic column 132 can be inserted into one of the plurality of limiting grooves 25 to fix the plurality of comb teeth 32 after length adjustment. The plurality of limiting grooves 25 correspond to different exposed lengths of the plurality of comb teeth 32, respectively.
According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the adjusting part is rotatably mounted in the main body case, the supporting ring is movably mounted at the adjusting part, and the adjusting structure is provided between the adjusting part and the supporting ring. To adjust the length of the plurality of comb teeth, the adjusting part can be rotated relative to the main body case, and the rotation of the adjusting part can drive, through the adjusting structure, the supporting ring to move up and down. The up and down displacement of the support ring can cause the plurality of comb teeth disposed at the supporting ring to protrude out of or retract into the main body case, so as to adjust a length of a portion the comb teeth protruding outside the main body case.
Further, the outer rotatable ring is disposed at the outer side of the bottom rotatable ring and extends upward, and the first supporting ring can be movably mounted in the outer rotatable ring to complete assembly. The assembly process is simple and convenient. Moreover, the position of the adjusting part can be limited by the first limiting ring and the second limiting ring disposed at the bottom case. As such, the adjusting part can be rotated, and the rotation of the adjusting part can drive the supporting ring to move up and down. Such structures are simple and reasonable. The assembly of bottom case, adjusting part, and the supporting ring can be reliable and not prone to loosening.
Another aspect of the present disclosure provides a hair dryer assembly. For example, as shown in
