Claims
- 1. A digital dictionary comprising:
- a storage means for constructing and maintaining one or more user defined vocabulary data structures;
- an input/output means for communicating with a selective one or more users;
- a subject of interest means for receiving, prioritizing, maintaining and updating one or more list of subjects of interest for each of said users;
- a processor means for associating said user defined vocabulary data structures with each of said subjects of interest;
- Wherein said processor means further including means for producing, maintaining, and updating a collection of instruction set sequence associated with of each of said user defined vocabulary data structures;
- an execution means for retrieving, interpreting, and executing said instruction set sequence for selective remote or local run-time manipulation, storage, or retrieval of document content containing said user defined vocabulary data structures.
- 2. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1, wherein said subjects of interest means further including a recording means for corresponding each of said subjects of interest to a selective one or more time instances.
- 3. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1, wherein said processor means further including a decision means for defining rules for associating said vocabulary data structures with each of said subject of interest.
- 4. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1 further including a controller means for creation, updating, editing, storage, maintenance, referencing, and management of said digital dictionary.
- 5. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 4, wherein the controller means comprises an operating system.
- 6. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1 further including a user application interface means for the creation, updating, editing, storage, maintenance, referencing, and management of said digital dictionary.
- 7. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 6, wherein said user application interface means comprises a browser.
- 8. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1 further including a communication system means for creation, updating, editing, storage, maintenance, referencing, and management of digital dictionary.
- 9. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 8, wherein the communication system means comprises a network.
- 10. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1 further including a storage system means for creation, updating, editing, storage, maintenance, referencing, and management of digital dictionary.
- 11. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 10, wherein the storage system means comprises a database.
- 12. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1, wherein said processor means further including a run time execution means for selectively organizing, scheduling and retrieving said user defined vocabulary data structures.
- 13. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1 further including a connecting means for communicating with a selective plurality of external document processing, transmission, storage, printing, or display machines; said connecting means requesting and receiving from said selective machines entire or partial content of an external document.
- 14. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 13 further including a search means for searching said user defined vocabulary data structures within said external documents for identifying a proper match.
- 15. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 13, further including a means allowing access, manipulation, storage, and retrieval of potential relevant variable-size document data types according to high level programming or database language construct.
- 16. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 15, further including a means for importing and parsing entire or partial content of said incoming document to correspond with selective page, paragraph, section, chapter, or other document organization means, wherein said importing content is in nature a variable size data block, said importing content is coded in selective printing or desktop presentation format.
- 17. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 16, further including a formatting means for formatting said external document content in accordance with an internal data representation which correspond with a single or plurality of entities of strings of alphabet, character, number, symbol, or code; said formatting means further selectively reformatting said external document content in accordance with a selective printing or desktop presentation format for producing selective outgoing document content.
- 18. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1, wherein the execution means further including an architectural support means for direct execution of programming or database language instruction.
- 19. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1, wherein said users comprises one or more applications.
- 20. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1, wherein said users comprises one or more systems.
- 21. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1, wherein said users comprises one or more devices.
- 22. A digital dictionary in accordance with claim 1, wherein the instruction set sequence comprises one or more procedure calls.
