The present disclosure relates to the technical field of digital photo frames, and in particular, to a digital photo frame convenient for replacing a decorative surface frame.
As a commonly used device for displaying photos and videos, a digital photo frame has always attracted attention in terms of rationality and convenience of its structural design. An early digital photo frame is typically composed of a liquid crystal display panel, a photo frame main body, back cover (bottom cover), and a support frame behind the back cover. The components are often combined through clamping, welding, gluing, or the like, so that it is difficult to assemble and disassemble the digital photo frame. Generally, it is hard for people without an operational ability and a maintenance skill to assemble and disassemble the components, without specific tools.
With the development of technology, there are also some photo frames with removable outer frames on the market. Patent No. “CN202021355138.0” discloses a digital photo frame convenient for assembling and disassembling. By arranging a roundabout slot and an elastic fastening head at specific positions, it is relatively easy to mount and remove a back cover. However, the roundabout slot and the fastening head can be apparent because they are exposed. This is not integrated and coordinated with the entire photo frame, and affects the appearance of the digital photo frame. Meanwhile, the added elastic fastening head (a steel sheet) can also invisibly increase the production costs. In addition, adding of a procedure of assembling the elastic fastening head (steel sheet) further increases the costs. In addition, after the procedure is added, the defect rate of a product can also increase. In addition, only the back cover can be mounted and removed, but a surface frame of the digital photo frame cannot be mounted, removed, and replaced, so that a need of a customer for personalized replacement of the surface frame cannot be met.
It is found in a further search that in a digital photo frame with a replaceable cover disclosed in “US 2009/0165351A1”, a boss groove is provided in an outer frame, which achieves quick mounting and removal of the cover. However, there are still many shortcomings, such as poor appearance coordination, high production costs, functional limitation, and inconvenient maintenance, which cannot fully meet needs of customers for convenience, attractive appearance, and personalization of the digital photo frame. Therefore, there is still a large room for improving a mounting structure of a decorative surface frame of an existing digital photo frame.

When the decorative surface frame 300 is assembled with the bottom shell 100, an inner side of the decorative surface frame 300 is tightly adhered to the outer side of the bottom shell 100. The rabbets 310 are pressed into sunken grooves 121 formed by assembling of the surface shell 120 and the bottom shell 100.
Specifically, cooperation between the bottom shell 100 and the surface shell 120 can mount the liquid crystal display panel 110 and the TP 111, and then the mounted TP 111 can provide a user with a touch interaction function. The decorative surface frame 300 can have a decorative effect on the digital photo frame, and the decorative surface frame 300 is mounted on the outer side of the bottom shell 100 through the fastening mechanism 200, so that a consumer can flexibly mount, remove, and select the decorative surface frame 300.
During specific mounting of the decorative surface frame 300, the consumer aligns the decorative surface frame 300 with the bottom shell 100, aligns the fasteners 210 with the grooves 220, and then presses the decorative surface frame 300 towards the bottom shell 100. The fasteners 210 can be fastened into the grooves 220, thereby achieving connection and fixation between the decorative surface frame 300 and the bottom shell 100. After the decorative surface frame 300 is assembled in place with the bottom shell 100, the inner side of the decorative surface frame 300 is tightly adhered to the outer side of the bottom shell 100. The rabbets 310 are pressed into the sunken grooves 121 formed by the assembling of the surface shell 120 and the bottom shell 100. The rabbets 310 can be used to further improve the stability of connection between the decorative surface frame 300 and the bottom shell 100 and prevent the decorative surface frame 300 from shaking or moving during use. Meanwhile, the rabbets 310 are pressed into the sunken grooves 121, which can also protect connection parts of the surface shell 120 and the bottom shell 100, to avoid looseness of connection between them due to an external force, thus ensuring the stability of the overall structure of the digital photo frame.
In this embodiment, at least two fasteners 210 are provided, and the plurality of fasteners 210 are distributed on the inner side of the decorative surface frame 300 at equal spacings.
Specifically, since the plurality of fasteners 210 are distributed at equal spacings, when the decorative surface frame 300 is connected to the bottom shell 100, a force on a surface of the bottom shell 100 can be more uniformly. Meanwhile, when the decorative surface frame 300 is mounted on the bottom shell 100, the fasteners 210 distributed at equal spacings are fastened with the grooves 220, which ensures that the tightness of connection between all positions on the decorative surface frame 300 and the bottom shell 100 is consistent, thus avoiding tilting or looseness of the decorative surface frame 300 due to a non-uniform local force, and improving the overall stability and reliability of the digital photo frame. When two fasteners 210 are provided, they can be symmetrically distributed on the inner side of the decorative surface frame 300, either horizontally or vertically, which can also assemble the decorative surface frame 300 and the bottom shell 100.
In this embodiment, the grooves 220 are a plurality of discontinuous grooves or annular grooves. When the grooves are a plurality of discontinuous grooves, a quantity and sizes of the grooves are matched with a quantity and sizes of the fasteners 210. When the grooves are the annular grooves, widths and depths of the annular grooves are matched with widths and lengths of the fasteners 210.
Specifically, when the grooves 220 are a plurality of discontinuous grooves, each fastener 210 corresponds to a groove. During mounting, the fasteners 210 are accurately fastened into the corresponding grooves to achieve aligned connection between the decorative surface frame 300 and the bottom shell 100.
When the grooves 220 are annular grooves, and the annular grooves surrounds the bottom shell 100 by a circle, the fasteners 210 can be more quickly fastened into the annular grooves, which increases a speed of mounting the decorative surface frame 300 and the bottom shell 100.
In this embodiment, a cross section of each fastener 210 is trapezoidal, and two ends of the fasteners 210 are provided with inclined end surfaces 211.
Specifically, the cross section of each fastener 210 is trapezoidal, so that when the fasteners 210 are fastened into the grooves 220, a wedging effect can be achieved. After the fasteners 210 are inserted into the grooves 220 due to the trapezoidal shape, as the decorative surface frame 300 is further pressed, inner walls of the grooves 220 can apply an inward compressive force on the fasteners 210, making the connection between the fasteners 210 and the grooves 220 tighter and less likely to loosen.
The inclined end surfaces 211 arranged at the two ends of the fasteners 210 play a role of guidance during the mounting of the decorative surface frame 300. When the decorative surface frame 300 is close to the bottom shell 100, the inclined end surfaces 211 can be more easily aligned with inlets of the grooves 220, thereby reducing the mounting difficulty and improving the accuracy and convenience of mounting.
In this embodiment, a support frame 130 is detachably mounted on a back surface of the bottom shell 100.
Specifically, the support frame 130 is used to support a placement plane, making it convenient for a customer to use the digital photo frame. The support frame 130 can be mounted on the bottom shell 100 in a detachable connection manner such as fasteners and slots, so that the consumer can easily mount or remove the support frame 130 according to an actual need.
In this embodiment, chamfered portions 320 are arranged at an inner side edge of the decorative surface frame 300.
Specifically, during mounting of the decorative surface frame 300, the chamfered portions 320 can be used to play a role of guidance, so that the decorative surface frame 300 can be more easily aligned with an edge of the bottom shell 100, thereby reducing the mounting difficulty and improving the mounting efficiency. Moreover, the chamfered portions 320 can effectively prevent the inner side edge of the decorative surface frame 300 from scratching or damaging the outer side of the bottom shell 100, so that the practicality of the decorative surface frame 300 is improved.
In daily use of this digital photo frame, when a user intends to change the decorative surface frame 300, or when the decorative surface frame 300 needs to be replaced due to scratches, damage, or the like, without any tool, the user can easily unfasten the fasteners 210 from the grooves 220 by simply applying an outward tension to each surface frame position of the decorative surface frame 300 one by one, so that the decorative surface frame 300 slides out of the grooves 220 and is easily removed. Then, a new decorative surface frame 300 can be mounted on the bottom shell 100 of the digital photo frame. As an independent component, there are diverse choices in colors, patterns, or other decorative elements for the decorative surface frame 300, and consumers can easily replace the decorative surface frame according to their preferences and different scenes, to meet personalized needs.
