- (A) a spindle engageable with said engaging hole of said central portion of said disc, said spindle having a disc mounting portion for receiving thereon said central portion, said spindle rotating said disc;
- (B) presser means for pressing said central portion of said disc against said mounting portion of said spindle;
- (C) disc loading means movably supported between a first position for receiving and holding said disc and a second position for positioning said disc at a recording and/or reproducing position, said disc loading means loading said disc at said recording and/or reproducing position by moving from said first position to said second position in a predetermined direction;
- (C') disc ejecting means for ejecting said disc by moving said disc loading means from said second position to said first position; and
- (D) control means for controlling said presser means according to said disc loading means so as to operate said presser means to press said central portion of said disc against said disc mounting portion of said spindle and subsequently release a pressing operation of said presser means for pressing said central portion of said disc according to the moving of said disc loading means in said predetermined direction from said first position to said second position and controlling said disc ejecting means so as not to operate said presser means when said disc loading means is moved in a reverse direction from said second position to said first position by said disc ejecting means.
- 2. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said presser means is a fork-shaped elastic member.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said disc loading means includes a holder for holding said disc, said holder being movable for placing the received disc between a predetermined position relatively near said spindle and the received position relatively far from said spindle;
- wherein said control means includes an operation means being operatively associated with said holder and causing said presser means to press said central portion of said disc and thereafter release said pressing in response to movement of said holder for placing said disc at a position at which said spindle and said disc are combined.
- 4. An apparatus according to claim 3, wherein said operation means is arranged to cause said presser means to press said central portion of said disc and thereafter release said pressing in response to movement of said holder for placing said disc at a position at which said spindle and said disc are combined.
- 5. A disc mounting apparatus using a disc having a center core at the center of said disc, comprising:
- (A) a spindle having a disc mounting portion for receiving thereon said center core, said spindle rotating said disc;
- (B) disc loading means movably supported between a first position for receiving and holding said disc and a second position for positioning said disc at a recording and/or reproducing portion, said disc loading means loading said disc at said recording and/or reproducing position by moving from said first position to said second position in a predetermined direction;
- (B') disc ejecting means for ejecting said disc by moving said disc loading means from said second position to said first position;
- (C) pressing means, connected to said disc loading means and having a resilient pressing portion for resiliently pressing said disc to said spindle for mounting said disc on said disc mounting portion with a predetermined constant force; and
- (D) control means for controlling said pressing means according to the moving operation of said disc loading means from said first position to said second position so as to operate said pressing means to press said center core of said disc against said disc mounting portion of said spindle through said pressing portion and subsequently release a pressing operation of said pressing means for pressing said center core of said disc according to the moving of said disc loading means in said one direction from said first position to said second position and controlling said disc ejecting means so as not to operate said pressing means when said disc loading means is moved in a reverse direction from said second position to said first position by said disc ejecting means.
- 6. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein said pressing means are respectively arranged almost diametrically in relation to said spindle opposite to said central portion of the disc said pressing means having a plurality of pressing portions.
- 7. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein said control means includes an operating means for operating said pressing means to cause said central portion of said disc to press against said spindle to mount said disc on said flange portion of said spindle and release the pressing operation as the resilient force exerted on said pressing means reaches a predetermined value.
- 8. A disc loading apparatus using a disc having a center core at the center of said disc, comprising:
- (A) a spindle having a mounting portion for receiving thereon said center core, said spindle rotating said disc;
- (B) a disc holder movably supported between a first position for receiving and holding said disc and a second position for positioning said disc at a recording and/or reproducing position;
- (C) disc loading means for moving said disc holder from said first position to said second position in one direction, said disc holder to load said disc at said recording and/or reproducing position;
- (C') ejecting means for ejecting said disc by moving said disc holder from said second position to said first position;
- (D) pressing means provided on said disc holder for elastically pressing said disc to said spindle for mounting said disc on said mounting portion with a predetermined force; and
- (E) control means connected to said disc holder and said pressing means for controlling said pressing means according to the moving operation of said disc loading means from said first position to said second position so as to operate said pressing means to press said center core of said disc against said mounting portion of said spindle and subsequently release a pressing operation of said pressing means for pressing said center core of said disc according to the moving of said disc loading means in said one direction from said first position to said second position and controlling said ejecting means so as not to operate said pressing means when said disc loading means is moved in a reverse direction from said second position to said first position by said disc ejecting means.
- 9. An apparatus according to claim 8, wherein said disc holder moves vertically and horizontally between said first position and said second position.
- 10. An apparatus according to claim 8, wherein said pressing means presses said center core elastically.
- 11. An apparatus according to claim 10, wherein said control means releases the pressing of said pressing means when the pressing force of said pressing means on said center core reaches a predetermined value.
