The following invention relates to tableware, in particular to a dish with a lid.
Dishes are shallow and small tableware and used for containing food and other items. A common dish mainly includes an arc-shaped dish body with accommodating space. Usually, it is impossible to pack the leftovers in a dish along with the dish, for the common dish does not have a matched lid. However, the dish with a lid of embodiments of the present invention can be used to contain food and further pack the unfinished up food. Therefore, the dish can serve a dual purpose.
An aspect relates to a dish with a lid, wherein the food in a dish can be conveniently sealed, stored, packed and carried through the snap-fit of the lid body and the dish body; the dish with the lid can serve a dual purpose.
In order to solve the technical problems, the following two basic structures are adopted in the technical solutions of embodiments of the present invention.
A dish with a lid comprises both a dish body and a lid body, wherein the lid body is disposed on the dish body and snap-fitted with it, and by which the dish body and the lid body form a storage cavity therebetween; and the dish body has average heights of 10 to 60 mm.
Compared with the known art, the dish with lid of embodiments of the present invention can be used for containing food as well as packing the leftovers therein. Through the snap-fit of the lid body and the dish body, the food can be conveniently sealed, stored, packed and carried. Therefore, the dish with lid can serve a dual purpose. The greater the length, width or diameter of the dish body is, the higher the height of the dish is; the smaller the length, width or diameter of the dish body is, the lower the height of the dish is.
Further, an open edge of the dish body is provided with an inclined folded edge which extends upward; the outer edge of the inclined folded edge is provided with a dish body edge engagement portion; an open edge of the lid body is provided with a horizontal folded edge which horizontally extends outward; the outer edge of the horizontal folded edge is provided with a lid body edge engagement portion matched with the dish body edge engagement portion; and the dish body edge engagement portion is embedded in the lid body edge engagement portion. The structural designs of the dish body and the lid body form such a tray that users can conveniently hold or carry the dish.
Further, an inside wall of the lid body edge engagement portion is provided with a projection; and the far outside end of the dish body edge engagement portion is pressed against the projection on the inside wall of the lid body edge engagement portion such that the dish body and the lid body form an embedded seal there-between.
Further, an outer edge of the lid body edge engagement portion is provided with a bevel edge. The bevel edge allows a user to open the lid body conveniently and prevents the lid body edge engagement portion from being contaminated.
Further, the cross sections of the dish body edge engagement portion and the lid body edge engagement portion are both trapezoid.
Further, the upper part of the cross sections of the dish body edge engagement portion and the lid body edge engagement portion is smaller than the lower part in size. When a plurality of dish bodies and lid bodies are superposed respectively, the distance between adjacent dish bodies or lid bodies is bridged, thus reducing the space for placement of the dishes with lids and bringing convenience to transportation.
Further, the bottom of the dish body is provided with support legs. The support legs are used for supporting the dish body such that the dish body is more stable.
Further, the bottom of the dish body edge engagement portion is provided with at least one dish body reinforcing rib; the horizontal folded edge of the lid body is provided with at least one lid body reinforcing rib; and the lid body is provided with recesses on the upside.
Further, the dish body has a height of 25 mm.
Further, the dish body and the lid body are both matched square, round or oval structures.
Some of the embodiments will be described in detail, with reference to the following figures, wherein like designations denote like members, wherein:
In order to describe embodiments of the present invention in further detail to achieve the objective of embodiments of the present invention and technical effects thereof, the structural characteristics of a dish with lid provided by embodiments of the present invention are described in detail with reference to the embodiments and attached drawings. The detailed description is as follows.
In this embodiment, the cross sections of the dish body edge engagement portion 12 and the lid body edge engagement portion 22 are both trapezoid, but they are not limited to the above shape. They may be arc-shaped or structured in other shapes. The upper part of the cross sections of the dish body edge engagement portion 12 and the lid body edge engagement portion 22 is smaller than the lower part in size. When a plurality of dish bodies 10 and lid bodies 20 are superposed respectively, the distance between adjacent dish bodies 10 or lid bodies 20 is bridged, thus reducing the space for placement of the dishes with lids and bringing convenience to transportation.
In this embodiment, in order to reinforce the stability of the dish with lid of the present invention, the bottom of the dish body edge engagement portion 12 of the dish body 10 is provided with at least one dish body reinforcing rib, and the horizontal folded edge 21 of the lid body 20 is provided with at least one lid body reinforcing rib 26.
In this embodiment, the dish body 10 and the lid body 20 are both matched square structures, but they are not limited to the above structure. They may appear in other shapes, where the dish body 10 and lid body 20 are matched with each other.
Compared with the prior art, the dish with lid of embodiments of the present invention can be used for containing food as well as packing the leftovers therein. Through the snap-fit of the lid body and the dish body, the food can be conveniently sealed, stored, packed and carried. Therefore, the dish with lid can serve a dual purpose. The greater the length, width or diameter of the dish body of the dish body is, the higher the height of the dish is; the smaller the length, width or diameter of the dish body is, the lower the height of the dish is.
In embodiment 2, the dish with lid is approximately the same with that in embodiment 1. The only difference lies in the structures of the dish body 10 and the lid body 20.
In embodiment 3, the dish with a lid is approximately the same with that in embodiment 1. The only difference lies in the structures of the dish body 10 and the lid body 20.
Although the present invention has been disclosed in the form of preferred embodiments and variations thereon, it will be understood that numerous additional modifications and variations could be made thereto without departing from the scope of the invention.
For the sake of clarity, it is to be understood that the use of “a” or “an” throughout this application does not exclude a plurality, and “comprising” does not exclude other steps or elements.
