Claims
- 1. A method of providing a user with the ability to control the emission of the aromatic materials so that they can avoid habituation, said method comprises a scent diffuser that provides a scent emission function selected from the group consisting of: start and stop the emission; select the scent “volume” or intensity; select the time interval between scent transitions; skip an unwanted scent; and combinations thereof; preferably the diffuser has the ability to control at least two emission functions, more preferably at least three emission functions, and most preferably all of said emission functions.
- 2. A method of providing a user with the ability to control the emission of the aromatic materials so that they can avoid habituation via both differing scent intensity and changing scents.
- 3. The method of claim 2 wherein the scent emission is regulated so that the scents are emitted intermittently when the scent intensity remains constant.
