The tagging item is presented vertically and notably protrudes externally and at a right angle from the front of the shelf. The device includes at least one supporting wing fitted with a mount cooperative with orifices of the shelf. The supporting wing has a holder for the tagging item. The mount includes a foot slaved to the lower end of the supporting wing and fitted with a rear rod. The rod runs through one orifice in order to protrude downwards, below the shelf, when the foot rests on the upper surface of the shelf. A removable counter-rest sleeve includes a planar extension cooperative with the lower surface of the shelf the sleeve has a mechanism for engaging into/disengaging from the rear rod.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a device for the display of a tagging item, such as, in particular, an advertising leaflet or the like, on a shelf 3 of a selling surface.

The device 1 is provided for exhibiting the tagging item 2 vertically, the latter protruding notably externally and at a right angle from the front of the shelf 3.

The device exhibits at least one supporting wing 4 fitted with mounting means 5 provided for cooperation with the orifices 30 of the shelf. The orifices 30 being drilled for the attachment of the device to said shelf. Such orifices are coplanar and arranged on line at the upper face of the edge of the shelf, according to a given number and a given pitch, as illustrated on FIGS. 1 and 3.

The supporting wing 4 exhibits means 6 for holding the tagging item, in particular, by one of its edges. These means maybe formed of a set of tongues and toes, said tongues extending parallel to the plane of the supporting wing 4, to define at least one space, run through by said toes, in order to insert the tagging item. The toes are provided for engaging into corresponding orifices of the tagging item.

According to the invention, the mounting means 5 include, on the one hand a foot 7 and on the other hand a counter-rest sleeve 9. The foot 7 slaved to the lower end of the supporting wing 4, fitted with a rear rod 8 capable of running through one of the orifices of the shelf in order to protrude downwards, below the latter, when the foot 7 is resting on the upper surface of said shelf. The counter-rest sleeve 9 is removable and exhibits a planar extension 10 provided for co-operating with the lower surface of the shelf. The sleeve 9 exhibits means 11 for engaging into/disengaging from said rear rod 8.

As illustrated on FIG. 6, according to an example, the foot 7 may exhibit abase 12 intended for resting on the upper surface of the shelf 3. This base 12 may be provided with one or several positioning toes 13 intended for cooperation with the orifices of said shelf. In particular, according to the example of FIG. 6, the base 12 exhibits two lateral toes 13, the rear rod 8 being median to said toes.

This foot may be especially designed for all the shelves drilled with round orifices, in particular 6 mm in diameter, or still in the form of a lozenge with 5 mm sides. The distance between the drillings maybe, for instance, i.e. 25 mm, i.e. a distance whereof the multiple is equal to 25 mm, such as for instance 12.5 mm.

Advantageously, as illustrated on FIGS. 5 and 6, the counter-rest sleeve 9 and the rod may exhibit guiding means 14, 15 enabling to couple both these elements to one another along a determined relative angular position.

The planar extension 10 protrudes laterally to the body of the sleeve 9. The guiding means 14, 15 may advantageously enable direction of the planar extension 10 so that said extension opposes optimally the action of the torque induced by the weight of a tagging item 2 slaved cantilever to said supporting wing 4 of the device.

In particular, as illustrated according to the example of FIG. 5, the planar extension 10 of the sleeve 9 may exhibit a main, predominant wing 21 and lateral wings 22 of smaller size.

Advantageously, as illustrated on FIG. 2, the guiding means 14, 15 may enable direction of the main wing, backwards relative to the tagging item 2.

The guiding means may in particular be formed of a groove 14 of the rear rod 8 and a rib 15, internal, of the counter-rest sleeve 9, as illustrated on FIGS. 5 and 6, or conversely. In particular, the groove 14 and the rib 15 exhibit V-shaped complementary profiles. Advantageously, a reinforcement fitting 19 may join the body of the counter-rest sleeve 9 to said planar extension, and in particular as illustrated on FIG. 4, the body of the sleeve with the main wing 21.

The engaging/disengaging means 11 may be formed of an elastic tongue 16 of the body of the sleeve 9. The end of the elastic tongue 16 may exhibit a locking finger capable of engaging with a cavity 20 of said rear rod 8.

Advantageously, the end of the elastic tongue 16, in particular the locking finger may be provided with a gripping extension 18 enabling release of the locking finger 17 of the cavity 20 and thus enabling the disengagement of the sleeve 9.

Advantageously, the different elements forming the device maybe formed of plastic material and obtained by the injection-moulding techniques.

Naturally, other embodiments, understandable to the man of the art, could have been contemplated without departing from the framework of the invention defined by the claims below.
