Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of Invention

The present disclosure relates to a display driving field, and more particularly to a display panel and a display device.

Description of Prior Art

With the development of the TFT technology, display effect of liquid crystal display panels on the market is demanding higher and higher. High-resolution and large-sized products are gradually favored by the market. A resolution is developed from 1920*1080 to 3840*2160, 4k, 8K, and even 10K in the future. A size is from 32 inches, 40 inches, 55 inches, 110 inches, and so on.

A large-sized and high-resolution display panel usually has a structure as shown in FIG. 1 and includes a first data line driving circuit 11, a second data line driving circuit 12, a first scan line driving circuit 13, a second scan line driving circuit 14, and pixel units. The pixel units are positioned in a first area 15, a second area 16, a third area 17, and a fourth area 18. The first data line driving circuit 11 and the first scan line driving circuit 13 are responsible for display driving of the pixel units in the first area 15. The first data line driving circuit 11 and the second scan line driving circuit 14 are responsible for display driving of the pixel units in the second area 16. The second data line driving circuit 12 and the first scan line driving circuit 13 are responsible for display driving of the pixel units in the third area 17. The second data line driving circuit 12 and the second scan line driving circuit 14 are responsible for display driving of the pixel units in the fourth area 18. This split-screen display method can ensure that the display panel has a high resolution and a high refresh rate.

However, since data lines driven by the first data line driving circuit 11 and data lines driven by the second data line driving circuit 12 have wiring differences (e.g., differences of wiring lengths or differences of wiring resistance values), a display difference line (a dark line) exists in a border between the first area 15 and the third area 17 and in a border between the second area 16 and the fourth area 18 due to different display effects. Accordingly, display effect of the liquid crystal display panel is affected.

Consequently, there is a need to provide a display panel and a display device to solve the problem in the prior art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The following embodiments are referring to the accompanying drawings for exemplifying specific implementable embodiments of the present disclosure. Furthermore, directional terms described by the present disclosure, such as upper, lower, front, back, left, right, inner, outer, side and etc., are only directions by referring to the accompanying drawings, and thus the used directional terms are used to describe and understand the present disclosure, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto.

In the drawings, structure-like elements are labeled with like reference numerals.

Please refer to FIG. 2. FIG. 2 is a structural diagram of a display panel in accordance with a first preferred embodiment of the present disclosure. The display panel in accordance with the present preferred embodiment includes a display panel body, a first data line driving circuit 21 and a second data line driving circuit 22 which are positioned at two sides of the display panel body, a first scan line driving circuit 23 and a second scan line driving circuit 24 which are positioned at the other two sides of the display panel body, first pixel units 25 which are driven by the first data line driving circuit 21, and second pixel units 26 which are driven by the second data line driving circuit 22. A dividing line is formed between the first pixel units 25 and the second pixel units 26. The dividing line is a non-straight line.

In the present preferred embodiment, the dividing line is a dividing line in a wave shape. The dividing line is a dividing line 27 in a square wave shape. The dividing line swings at two sides of a horizontal center line 28 of the display panel.

The second data line driving circuit 22 transmits data signals to the second pixel units 26 under the driving of the scan signals of the first scan line driving circuit 23 and the driving of the scan signals of the second scan line driving circuit 24.

The dividing line 27 in the square wave shape between the first pixel units 25 and the second pixel units 26 is not positioned in a same straight line. The dividing line 27 in the square wave shape swings at the two sides of the horizontal center line 28 of the display panel. Display effect of the firs pixel units 25 and display effect of the second pixel units 26 have a larger difference. However, since a dark line exists at the two sides of the horizontal center line 28, human visual sense of the dark line is significantly weakened and even human eyes cannot perceive the existence of the dark line.

Preferably, in order to decrease a driving difference between the first pixel units 25 and the second pixel units 26, a highest point and a lowest point of the dividing line in the square wave 27 may be respectively set at the two sides of horizontal center line 28 of the display panel. As such, the first data line driving circuit 21 and the second data line driving circuit 22 may be disposed symmetrically.

Preferably, in order to decrease the driving difference between the first pixel units 25 and the second pixel units 26, a distance between the highest point of the dividing line in the square wave 27 and the horizontal center line 28 is approximately equal to a distance between the lowest point of the dividing line in the square wave 27 and the horizontal center line 28. As such, the human visual sense of the dark line is significantly weakened, and even the human eyes cannot perceive the existence of the dark line.

The second data line driving circuit 32 transmits data signals to the second pixel units 36 under the driving of the scan signals of the first scan line driving circuit 33 and the driving of the scan signals of the second scan line driving circuit 34.

The dividing line 37 in the sine wave shape between the first pixel units 35 and the second pixel units 36 is not positioned in a same straight line. The dividing line 37 in the sine wave shape swings at the two sides of the horizontal center line 38 of the display panel. Display effect of the firs pixel units 35 and display effect of the second pixel units 36 have a larger difference. However, since a dark line exists at the two sides of the horizontal center line 38, human visual sense of the dark line is significantly weakened.

Preferably, in order to decrease a driving difference between the first pixel units 35 and the second pixel units 36, a highest point and a lowest point of the dividing line in the sine wave 37 may be respectively set at the two sides of horizontal center line 38 of the display panel. As such, the first data line driving circuit 31 and the second data line driving circuit 32 may be disposed symmetrically.

Preferably, in order to decrease the driving difference between the first pixel units 35 and the second pixel units 36, a distance between the highest point of the dividing line in the square wave 37 and the horizontal center line 38 is approximately equal to a distance between the lowest point of the dividing line in the square wave 37 and the horizontal center line 38, so as to dispose the first data line driving circuit 31 and the second data line driving circuit 32 preferably.
