Claims
- 1. A disposable dental material applicator comprising:
a handle; an elongated stem having a longitudinal length attached to said handle; and flocking fibers coated on a major portion of the longitudinal length of said elongated stem, whereby the disposable dental material applicator may be useful for cleaning under dental bridgework, dental implants, periodontal pockets, delivery of medications, and used as an interproximal stimulator.
- 2. A disposable dental material applicator as in claim 1 further comprising:
a hinge placed between said handle and said elongated stem.
- 3. A disposable dental material applicator as in claim 1 wherein:
said flocking fibers are adhesively secured to said stem and extend radially outward of said stem about an entire circumference thereof.
- 4. A disposable dental material applicator as in claim 1 further comprising:
a second elongated stem having a second longitudinal length attached to a second end of said handle; second flocking fibers coated on a second major portion of the second longitudinal length of said second elongated stem; and a V-shaped groove circumscribing said handle to define a first handle section and a second handle section, whereby the first handle section is capable of being separated from the second handle section.
- 5. A disposable dental material applicator comprising:
a handle; an elongated stem having a longitudinal length attached to said handle; a reduced web placed between said handle and said elongated stem, whereby said elongated stem may be angularly bent relative to said handle; flocking fibers coated on a major portion of the longitudinal length of said elongated stem, whereby the disposable dental material applicator may be useful for cleaning under dental bridgework, dental implants, periodontal pockets, delivery of medications, and used as an interproximal stimulator.
- 6. A disposable dental material applicator as in claim 5 wherein:
said elongated stem is sized so as to be inserted into a post hole.
- 7. A dental device comprising:
an elongated handle; a tapered stem end formed on one end of said elongated handle having a distal end; a hinge formed between said elongated handle and said tapered stem end; and flock attached to said stem tapered end extending along a substantial longitudinal distance of said tapered stem end, whereby said tapered stem end is capable of being used in a dental procedure.
- 8. A dental device as in claim 7 wherein:
the substantial longitudinal distance is a predetermined distance at least as long as the depth of a post hole.
- 9. A dental device as in claim 7 wherein:
said flock extends more than half way between the distal end and said tapered stem end.
- 10. A dental cleaning, stimulating, and delivery device comprising:
an elongated plastic handle; a tapered stem end formed on one end of said elongated plastic handle having a distal end, said tapered stem end having a circumference and a longitudinal length; a reduced web forming a hinge placed between said elongated plastic handle and said tapered stem end, whereby said tapered stem end may be angularly bent relative to said elongated plastic handle; and flocking fibers adhesively secured to said tapered stem end and extending radially outward about the
