Abstract
A disposal processing apparatus comprises: a disposal processing section that disposes of a recording medium; an arrival detecting section that detects whether the recording medium has reached the disposal processing section; and a judging section that judges whether the recording medium has been disposed of by the disposal processing section based on a detection result of the arrival detecting section.

Claims
  • 1. A disposal processing apparatus comprising: a disposal processing section that disposes of a recording medium;an arrival detecting section that detects whether the recording medium has reached the disposal processing section; anda judging section that judges whether the recording medium has been disposed of by the disposal processing section based on a detection result of the arrival detecting section.
  • 2. The disposal processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the disposal processing section has a mechanism that crushes into pieces or cuts the recording medium utilizing rotation of a motor, andthe arrival detecting section is a current detecting section that detects a current consumption of the motor.
  • 3. The disposal processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the arrival detecting section has a contact member to be brought into contact with the recording medium, and detects whether the recording medium has reached the disposal processing section through an action of the contact member that is caused by transport of the recording medium.
  • 4. The disposal processing apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising: at least one transport section that transports the recording medium to the disposal processing section; anda passage detecting section that detects a passage of the recording medium, the passage detecting section being disposed upstream of the disposal processing section,wherein the arrival detecting section is the passage detecting section that is disposed in a recording medium transport passage between the disposal processing section and one, closest to the disposal processing section, of said at least one transport section.
  • 5. The disposal processing apparatus according to claim 1, in which particular information is attached to the recording medium, the apparatus further comprising: a particular information acquiring section that acquires the particular information; anda communication section that notifies, if the judging section judges that the recording medium has not been disposed of by the disposal processing section, information that the recording medium has not been disposed of and the particular information, which are correlated with each other, of an information management system that is externally connected a network.
  • 6. The disposal processing apparatus according to claim 1, in which particular information is attached to the recording medium, the apparatus further comprising: a particular information acquiring section that acquires the particular information; anda communication section that notifies, if the judging section judges that the recording medium has been disposed of by the disposal processing section, information that the recording medium has been disposed of and the particular information, which are correlated with each other, of an information management system that is externally connected a network.
  • 7. A disposal processing information management system comprising: (i) the disposal processing apparatus according to claim 1, in which particular information is attached to the recording medium, the apparatus further comprising: a particular information acquiring section that acquires the particular information; anda communication section that notifies, when the judging section judges whether the recording medium has been disposed of by the disposal processing section, information indicating whether the recording medium has been disposed of and the particular information, which are correlated with each other, of an information managing section; and(ii) the information managing section that manages management information of the recording medium.
  • 8. A disposal processing method for disposing of a recording medium with a disposal processing section, the method comprising: detecting whether the recording medium has reached the disposal processing section; andjudging whether the recording medium has been disposed of by the disposal processing section based on a detection result of the detecting.
