Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a diving equipment and, more particularly, to a diving backplate.

2. Description of the Related Art

With the increasing population engaging in leisure sports, diving has become one of the popular activities. Since diving is a highly specialized activity, it requires essential equipment such as wetsuit, mask, diving backplate, air tank, fins, counterweight belt, etc. In this regard, the conventional diving backplate typically has a backpack and a frame. A bladder is provided in the backpack. The backpack can be assembled to the frame. The frame is configured to accommodate the air tank so as to allow divers to stay submerged for extended periods in oxygen-deprived underwater environments. When resurfacing, the diver can press an air filling button to transfer air from the tank into the bladder of the backpack so as to increase buoyancy. However, said diving backplate lacks mechanisms for adjusting counterweights. Accordingly, when the diver resurfaces, the buoyancy of the bladder causes the overall buoyancy center far biased from the original buoyancy center of the diver's body, and hinders the diver from sustaining the necessary level or specific posture, resulting in poor usability.

In light of the above, it is necessary to improve the conventional diving backplate.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

To solve the above problems, it is an objective of the present invention to provide a diving backplate capable of sustaining the necessary level or specific posture of the diver and improving using convenience.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide a diving backplate capable of improving assembly convenience.

It is yet another objective of the present invention to provide a diving backplate capable of improving wearing comfort.

It is a further objective of the present invention to provide a diving backplate capable of decreasing manufacturing costs.

As used herein, the term “a”, “an” or “one” for describing the number of the elements and members of the present invention is used for convenience, provides the general meaning of the scope of the present invention, and should be interpreted to include one or at least one. Furthermore, unless explicitly indicated otherwise, the concept of a single component also includes the case of plural components.

As used herein, terms “mounted”, “combined”, “assembled”, “arranged” or “provided” throughout the present invention mainly include patterns that the components can still be separated without destroying the components after connection, or the components are inseparable after connection and the like, which can be selected by a person having ordinary skill in the art based on the material or assembly requirements of the components to be connected.

A diving backplate according to the present invention includes a device body, a first frame, a second frame and multiple counterweights. Each counterweight includes multiple second assembly holes each respectively aligned with a respective one of the multiple first assembly holes. A fastener is provided for mounting with each aligned first assembly hole and second assembly hole.

Therefore, by the configuration that the multiple counterweights can be detachable mounted to the second frame and the fasteners can be mounted with aligned second assembly holes and first assembly holes, the mounting positions of the counterweights can be changed/adjusted or finely tuned. Therefore, the diver/user can maintain their buoyancy center in a balance when resurfacing, so that the necessary level or specific posture of the diver can be sustained. Accordingly, the effect of improving convenience can be achieved.

In an example, the second frame includes a base and two side walls respectively connected to two sides of the base, and the multiple first assembly holes are located on the two side walls. Therefore, the configuration of the second frame contributes in simplifying the overall structure of itself, and hence also achieves the effect of decreasing the manufacture costs.

In an example, the base and the two side walls are integrally formed. Therefore, the structural strength of the second frame can be enhanced.

In an example, the first frame includes multiple adjusting holes each configured to be mounted with an adjusting member, and one end of the adjusting member abuts the outward face of the device body. A space is thereby formed with the specific distance between the first frame and the device body. Therefore, by adjusting the adjusting member, the space and the distance between the first frame and the device body can be correspondingly adjusted/changed to receive various components, and hence achieves the effect of preventing from damage caused by compression force between the first frame and the device body to the received components.
