The disclosure relates to doll assemblies and more particularly pertains to a new doll assembly for celebrating events and entertainment. The present invention discloses aa doll assembly including a doll and a plurality of themed hats, with the hats being selectively engageable to a head of the doll. Further lacking in the prior art is a plurality of panels, which are variously shaped and configured to be selectively decorated, and which can be selectively engaged to a respective hat engaged to the doll.
The prior art relates to doll assemblies. Prior art doll assemblies may comprise dolls to which respective elements, such as a messages, plaques, or the like, can be magnetically attached. What is lacking in the prior art is a doll assembly including a doll and a plurality of themed hats, with the hats being selectively engageable to a head of the doll. Further lacking in the prior art is a plurality of panels, which are variously shaped and configured to be selectively decorated, and which can be selectively engaged to a respective hat engaged to the doll.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a doll, which comprises a body and a head. Each of a plurality of hats is selectively engageable to the doll so that the hat is positioned on and extends from the head of the doll. Each hat has a respective theme so that the plurality of hats comprises hats having a variety of themes. A respective hat having an associated theme is selectively engageable to the doll, wherein the respective hat is configured to acknowledge an event associated with the associated theme.
The doll assembly also may comprise an instruction providing historical context for the associated events corresponding to the themes of the hats. The instruction also may include a set of rules and guidelines for use by a set of users in interacting with or in playing a game using the doll.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
Each of a plurality of hats 30 is selectively engageable to the doll 12 so that the hat 30 is positioned on and extends from the head 16 of the doll 12. Each hat 30 has a respective theme 32 so that the plurality of hats 30 comprises hats 30 having a variety of themes 32. A respective hat 30 having an associated theme 32 is selectively engageable to the doll 12, wherein the respective hat 30 is configured to acknowledge an event associated with the associated theme 32.
The plurality of hats 30 may comprise hats 30 for acknowledging one or more of holidays, seasons, birthdays, anniversaries, religious events, political events, secular events, personal events, and the like. The plurality of hats 30 also may comprise hats 30 for acknowledging events recognized by one or more of a respective country, a respective state, a respective cultural group, a respective ethnic group, a respective civic group, a respective family group, and the like.
Each hat 30 may be elongated cone shaped, as shown in
The assembly 10 also may comprise a plurality of panels 40. Each panel 40 has a respective shape 42 so that the plurality of panels 40 comprises panels 40 having a variety of shapes 42, as is shown in
Each of a plurality of first holes 48 is positioned in a respective hat 30 proximate to the top 44. Each of a plurality of second holes 50 is positioned in a respective panel 40. A clip 52 is selectively insertable through a respective second hole 50 and a respective first hole 48 to removably engage a respective panel 40 to a respective hat 30.
The doll and interchangeable hat assembly 10 also may comprise an instruction 54, which provides historical context for the associated events corresponding to the themes 32 of the hats 30. The instruction 54 also may include a set of rules and guidelines 56 for use by a set of users in interacting with or in playing a game using the doll 12. For example, the set of rules and guidelines 56 may provide for naming of the doll 12, rules on touching and positioning of the doll 12, and the like. The instruction 54 may be provided in one or both of hardcopy format and digital format.
In use, the doll and interchangeable hat assembly 10 enables a method 58 of interacting with or playing a game with a doll 12. The method 58 comprises a first step 60 of providing a doll and interchangeable hat assembly 10 according to the specification above. A second step 62 of the method 58 entails providing an instruction 54, including a set of rules and guidelines 56, for use by a set of users in interacting with or in playing a game using the doll 12. A third step 64 of the method 58 is selecting a respective hat 30 and engaging the respective hat 30 to the head 16 of the doll 12. A fourth step 66 of the method 58 is following the set of rules and guidelines 56 to interact with or to play the game with the doll 12.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
