TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates to a doll garment manufacturing method.

BACKGROUND ART

As a method for manufacturing a garment to be worn on a doll, for example, JPS60-176678A discloses a doll garment manufacturing method, in which designs for front and back pieces are printed on cloth, and the front and back pieces are cut, taken out, and sewn together. On the front piece, a logo design is printed. According to the doll garment manufacturing method, when providing a logo design on a garment for a doll, the logo design is printed without the need to attach a logo design, which is a separate piece, by sewing or the like, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

The manufacturing process including cutting the front and back pieces separately and sewing them together to make the doll garment is complicated, and thus there is a need to further simplification of the process. On the other hand, if a toy does not have a good appearance, a child may get bored with it while playing. Therefore, there is a need for a doll garment manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a garment for a doll with a good appearance while simplifying a manufacturing process.

The present disclosure is to provide a doll garment manufacturing method capable of manufacturing of a garment for a doll with a good appearance while simplifying a manufacturing process.

A doll garment manufacturing method according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: printing a plurality of designs at intervals on a transfer sheet to prepare a printed transfer sheet, each of the plurality of designs having an annular sector shape; sublimation-transferring the plurality of designs to a transfer target cloth using the printed transfer sheet to prepare a transferred cloth including a plurality of transferred regions in which the plurality of designs are transferred, respectively, and an untransferred region in which the plurality of designs are not transferred; cutting the transferred cloth by performing laser cutting along an edge of a garment cutting region of the transferred cloth to take out a cut piece corresponding to the garment cutting region from the transferred cloth, the garment cutting region including one of the plurality of transferred regions and part of the untransferred region; and preparing a doll garment from the cut piece taken out from the transferred cloth.

According to the above aspect, it is possible to provide a doll garment manufacturing method capable of manufacturing of a garment for a doll with a good appearance while simplifying a manufacturing process.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1A shows an arrangement relationship of a design 20, an untransferred region 40, and a garment cutting region 30 so as to illustrate a configuration of the design 20 to be printed on a transfer sheet 60 (described later) and a region to be subjected to laser cutting in which the design 20 is transferred to a transfer target cloth 61 (described later). In FIG. 1A, a substantially annular sector-shaped part indicated by the solid line is a design 20 of a doll garment 10. The design 20 of the present embodiment is provided with a polka-dot pattern. Although the design 20 is illustrated with the solid line border, but the solid line border may be omitted, and it is sufficient for the design 20 to have a substantially annular sector shape.

In addition, a garment decoration design 25 is provided at a substantially central portion of the design 20 in a long-side direction (a left-right direction in FIG. 1A, i.e., a circumferential direction of the design 20). The garment decoration design 25 is provided to extend from an inner diameter edge 21 of the design 20 in a short-side direction of the design 20 (a vertical direction of FIG. 1A, i.e., a radial direction of the design 20). The garment decoration design 25 is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape where a width decreases from the inner diameter edge 21 of the design 20 toward an outer diameter edge 22 of the design 20. As a result, in the doll garment 10 formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, the garment decoration design 25 is formed to appear in a substantially rectangular shape.

The garment cutting region 30 is represented by a region enclosed by a dash-double-dot line in FIG. 1A. The garment cutting region 30 includes the design 20 (in other words, a transferred region in which the design 20 is transferred from the transfer sheet 60) and the untransferred region 40. Here, the untransferred region 40 is a region outside the design 20 and in which the design 20 is not transferred from the transfer sheet 60. The garment cutting region 30 includes a collar 31 (collar portion) connected to the inner diameter edge 21 of the design 20 and formed to have a predetermined width S1 and substantially the same curvature as that of the inner diameter edge 21. The collar 31 has a left collar 31a and a right collar 31b, and a substantially V-shaped notch 31c is formed between the left collar 31a and the right collar 31b. As shown in FIG. 1B, the collar 31 is a portion that becomes a collar when the doll garment 10 is worn on a doll 50.

As shown in FIG. 1A, the garment cutting region 30 includes a decoration portion 32 connected to the outer diameter edge 22 of the design 20 and having a series of circular arc shapes. The garment cutting region 30 includes a left connection line 33 connecting the left collar 31a and a left end of the decoration portion 32, and a right connection line 34 connecting the right collar 31b and a right end of the decoration portion 32. The left connection line 33 and the right connection line 34 are located inside the design 20. In other words, the left connection line 33 and the right connection line 34 are provided to overlap the design 20. This makes it possible to reduce malfunctions such as loss of a shape during cutting. As shown in FIG. 1B, the decoration portion 32 is a portion that becomes a decoration of a lower end of a skirt.

In addition, the garment cutting region 30 is provided with an arm passing portion 35 (a left arm passing portion 35a and a right arm passing portion 35b) in a shape of a circular arc-shaped through hole. As shown in FIG. 1B, the arm passing portion 35 is a hole through which an arm 51 of the doll 50 passes.

A doll garment manufacturing method according to the embodiment of the present disclosure includes the processes shown in a flowchart of FIG. 2. In a transfer sheet printing process (step S10), a plurality of substantially annular sector-shaped designs 20 are printed on a transfer sheet 60 at predetermined intervals so that an untransferred region 40 is to be generated in the transfer target cloth 61. The transfer sheet 60 is a transfer sheet used for sublimation transfer, and, for example, as shown in FIG. 3, a plurality of designs 20 can be printed in 3 rows and 4 columns at predetermined intervals S2 and S3 on the transfer sheet. Here, the predetermined interval S2 is an interval between the designs 20 in a row direction (a distance between a right end of a design 20 and a left end of an adjacent design 20), and the predetermined interval S3 is an interval between the design 20 in a column direction (a distance between a lower end of a design 20 and an upper end of an adjacent design 20). The predetermined intervals S2 and S3 are portions included in the untransferred region 40 that is not subjected to sublimation transfer.

In a sublimation transfer process (step S20), the plurality of designs 20 are transferred onto a transfer target cloth 61 using the printed transfer sheet 60 prepared in the transfer sheet printing process (step S10). The transfer target cloth 61 is preferably made of polyester. As used herein, the term “polyester” may include 100% polyester, a mixture of polyester and cotton, or else. In addition, the transfer target cloth 61 in the present embodiment is a cloth with a white background.

FIG. 3 schematically shows both a state in which the designs 20 are printed on the transfer sheet 60 and a state in which the designs 20 are transferred to the transfer target cloth 61.

In a cutting process (step S30), a garment cutting region 30 (a cut piece) is taken out from the transfer target cloth 61 by performing laser cutting along an edge of a garment cutting region 30 including the design 20 (the transferred region) and the untransferred region 40. That is, laser cutting is performed by a cutting machine using laser light along the dash-double-dot line indicating the edge of the garment cutting region 30 shown in FIG. 1A. At this time, for the arm passing portion 35, a circular arc-shaped hole is formed. In the present embodiment, the transfer target cloth 61 is a cloth made of polyester. Therefore, by laser cutting, a cut portion is melted, and fraying and the like are reduced.

In the transfer sheet printing process (step S10), camera guides 45 for laser cutting may be printed on the transfer sheet 60 together with the design 20. The camera guides 45 may be arranged at four positions corresponding to for corners of a substantially rectangular shape while not overlapping the design 20. The camera guides 45 is sublimation-transferred from the transfer sheet 60 to the transfer target cloth 61 together with the design 20 in the sublimation transfer process (step S20). When performing the cutting process (step S30) by laser cutting, the camera guides 45 are captured by a camera and subjected to image recognition processing to guide a cutting position, thereby reducing misalignment of the cutting. The image recognition processing can be further enhanced in accuracy by using AI (artificial intelligence). Each of the camera guides 45 has an approximate L-shape, but may have another shape.

The camera guides 45 are provided at a distance d mm from sides of a rectangle along an X direction (a vertical, longitudinal direction) and sides of the rectangle along a Y direction (a horizontal, transverse direction) so as to be in the vicinity of an outer edges of the rectangle. The rectangle is defined by the outermost portions of the garment cutting region 30. If the camera guides 45 are too close to the design 20 (garment cutting region 30), so-called removal misalignment in which the camera guides 45 enter a product (the doll garment 10) may occur even if the misalignment of the laser cutting is slight. In addition, if the camera guides 45 are too far from the design 20 (garment cutting region 30), the number of designs that can be transferred decreases. Therefore, in order to transfer more designs to the transfer target cloth 61 while suppressing the removal misalignment, the distance d is preferably 2 mm<d<4 mm, and d=3 mm is more appropriate.

In a sewing process (step S40), the transfer target cloth 61 of the garment cutting region 30 (the cut piece) taken out in the cutting process (step S30) is sewn. For example, an elastic rubber thread may be provided as a stitch at a predetermined position spanning from the left connection line 33 to the right connection line 34. The doll garment 10 may be formed into a substantially cylindrical shape by sewing the left connection line 33 and the right connection line 34. Instead of sewing, a fastener such as a surface fastener may be provided on or in the vicinity of the left connection line 33 and the right connection line 34 to prepare the doll garment 10 by the fastener. In other words, the sewing process is an example of a garment preparing process for preparing the doll garment 10.

The doll garment 10 manufactured in this way can be put on the doll 50 by covering the doll from the top (or bottom), as shown in FIG. 1B.

FIG. 4A shows a design 20A according to a modification of the embodiment of the present disclosure. The design 20A (a transferred region in which the design 20A is transferred from the transfer sheet 60) is formed in a substantially annular sector shape. The garment cutting region 30 includes the design 20A and the untransferred region 40. Here, the collar 31 is formed in the untransferred region 40. The design 20A includes a circular arc-shaped inner diameter edge 21 and an outer diameter edge 22. The outer diameter edge 22 is formed in a straight line, and is provided with substantially rectangular protrusions 22a at a central portion and on left and right sides, respectively. Additionally, three triangular protrusions 26 are provided at each of both end portions of the design 20A in the longitudinal direction of the design 20A.

Even in the present modification, a doll garment 10A can be manufactured according to the flowchart of FIG. 2. The doll garment 10A is formed as a pants-type garment, as shown in FIG. 4B. In this way, the design 20A may be formed in a substantially annular sector shape. In this case, the doll garment 10A can be lifted and put on from the bottom of the doll 50, as if putting on pants.

According to the embodiment of the present disclosure as described above, a doll garment manufacturing method of following aspects can be provided.

A doll garment manufacturing method according to a first aspect includes printing a plurality of designs at intervals on a transfer sheet to prepare a printed transfer sheet, each of the plurality of designs having an annular sector shape; sublimation-transferring the plurality of designs to a transfer target cloth using the printed transfer sheet to prepare a transferred cloth including a plurality of transferred regions in which the plurality of designs are transferred, respectively, and an untransferred region in which the plurality of designs are not transferred; cutting the transferred cloth by performing laser cutting along an edge of a garment cutting region of the transferred cloth to take out a cut piece corresponding to the garment cutting region from the transferred cloth, the garment cutting region including one of the plurality of transferred regions and part of the untransferred region; and preparing a doll garment from the cut piece taken out from the transferred cloth.

According to this configuration, the doll garment can be manufactured by printing the design on the transfer target cloth, cutting it by laser cutting, and performing necessary sewing, so the process of sewing the front and back pieces as in the method described in the background art can be omitted. Additionally, by cutting the cloth including the untransferred region, it is possible to provide decoration with a good appearance while omitting the process of sewing parts such as a collar and a decoration part. Therefore, it is possible to provide a doll garment manufacturing method capable of manufacturing of the doll garment with a good appearance while simplifying a manufacturing process.

In the doll garment manufacturing method according to a second aspect, the transfer target cloth has a white background, and the part of the untransferred region in the garment cutting region includes a collar portion corresponding to a collar of the doll garment.

According to this configuration, even for the doll garment whose collar and decoration part are white in relation to a colored design, the manufacturing process can be simplified.

In the doll garment manufacturing method according to a third aspect, the one of the plurality of designs includes a garment decoration design provided at an substantially central portion in a long-side direction of the one of the plurality of designs and extending in a short-side direction of the one of the plurality of designs, and the garment decoration design has a trapezoidal shape.

According to this configuration, it is possible to manufacture the doll garment that does not cause discomfort and has a good appearance even if a decoration design, a tie design, or the like is applied to the front chest of the garment.

Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments and can be variously changed without departing from the scope.
