Claims
- 1. An improved vehicle dolly system, comprising:
at least three dollies detachably and adjustably connected to one another; said dollies having an adjustable width and length to be adjusted to match the length and width of the wheels of a vehicle to be loaded thereon; and said dollies freely moveable in any direction to allow the vehicle loaded thereon to be moved in any direction to maximize the use of the available space in a parking area.
- 2. The system of claim 1, including at least a pair of rear dollies having an adjustable width there between and each of the rear dollies also connected to at least one front dolly and having an adjustable length there between.
- 3. The system of claim 2, including each of said dollies being substantially identical to one another and interchangeable with one another.
- 4. The system of claim 2, including a pair of front dollies having an adjustable width there between and connected to said rear pair of dollies with an adjustable length there between.
- 5. The system of claim 4, including a first one of said first pair of dollies connected to a first one of said rear pairs of dollies and the second dolly of each pair connected to one another.
- 6. The system of claim 1, including each of said dollies being substantially identical to one another and interchangeable with one another.
- 7. The system of claim 1, including at least one dolly having a releasable brake mechanism.
- 8. The system of claim 1, including each of said dollies including a rectangular platform for said vehicle and four rotatable wheels supporting said platform.
- 9. The system of claim 8, including said platform having an arcate surface for holding the wheel of a vehicle loaded thereon, said platform including a ramp for loading and unloading the vehicle.
- 10. The system of claim 9, including said arcate surface and said ramp pivotally mounted on said platform to assist in the loading and unloading of the vehicle.
- 11. The system of claim 1, including adjustable members connecting each dolly to one another to provide said adjustable width and length.
- 12. An improved vehicle dolly system, comprising:
three dollies detachably and adjustably connected to one another, each of said dollies being substantially identical to one another and interchangeable with one another; said dollies having an adjustable width and length to be adjusted to match the length and width of the wheels of a vehicle to be loaded thereon; and said dollies freely moveable in any direction to allow the vehicle loaded thereon to be moved in any direction to maximize the use of the available space in a parking area and at least one dolly having a releasable brake mechanism.
- 13. The system of claim 12, including at least a pair of rear dollies having an adjustable width there between and each of the rear dollies also connected to the front dolly and having an adjustable length there between.
- 14. The system of claim 12, including each of said dollies including a rectangular platform for said vehicle and four rotatable wheels supporting said platform.
- 15. The system of claim 14, including said platform having an arcate surface for holding the wheel of a vehicle loaded thereon, said platform including a ramp for loading and unloading the vehicle.
- 16. The system of claim 15, including said arcate surface and said ramp pivotally mounted on said platform to assist in the loading and unloading of the vehicle.
- 17. The system of claim 12, including adjustable members connecting each dolly to one another to provide said adjustable width and length.
- 18. An improved vehicle dolly system, comprising:
four dollies detachably and adjustably connected to one another, each of said dollies being substantially identical to one another and interchangeable with one another; including a pair of front dollies having an adjustable width there between and including at least a pair of rear dollies having an adjustable width there between and each of the rear dollies also connected to at least one front dolly and having an adjustable length there between; said dollies having an adjustable width and length to be adjusted to match the length and width of the wheels of a vehicle to be loaded thereon; and said dollies freely moveable in any direction to allow the vehicle loaded thereon to be moved in any direction to maximize the use of the available space in a parking area.
- 19. The system of claim 18, including a first one of said first pair of dollies connected to a first one of said rear pairs of dollies and the second dolly of each pair connected to one another.
- 20. The system of claim 18, including at least one dolly having a releasable brake mechanism.
- 21. The system of claim 18, including each of said dollies including a rectangular platform for said vehicle and four rotatable wheels supporting said platform.
- 22. The system of claim 21, including said platform having an arcate surface for holding the wheel of a vehicle loaded thereon, said platform including a ramp for loading and unloading the vehicle.
- 23. The system of claim 22, including said arcate surface and said ramp pivotally mounted on said platform to assist in the loading and unloading of the vehicle.
- 24. The system of claim 18, including adjustable members connecting each dolly to one another to provide said adjustable width and length.
