A preferable embodiment of the present invention will be explained below in detail with reference to the drawings.
1. Whole Constitution (See
A double floor of the present invention is constituted of base units 1, corner plates 2, and channel plates 3. A double floor can be spaced from an original floor face by a predetermined distance by combining these members to lay them on the floor face.
2. Base Unit 1 (See
Each base unit 1 includes a steel-made base, where a woody decorative plate 11 is attached on a surface of the steel-made base.
The steel-made base is constituted of an octagonal steel-made top plate 12 formed by cutting corner portions of a square plate, and leg plates 13 provided around the top plate 12.
The leg plates 13 are plates serving as legs of the top plate 12.
A surface of the double floor is disposed at a position higher than an original floor face by a height of the leg plates 13.
The steel-made top plate 12 and the woody decorative plate 11 are not the same in size, but both plates are similar, where the woody decorative plate 11 is slightly smaller than the steel-plate top plate 12.
As a result, a reception stand 14 slightly projecting from the decorative plate on the steel-made top plate 12 is formed around the steel-made top plate 12.
The corner plate 2 or the channel plate 3 described below is placed on the reception stand 14.
3. Spacing for Wiring
The base units 1 described above are laid on a floor face via a constant spacing regarding front and rear directions and left and right directions.
The spacing between adjacent base units 1 formed is utilized as a space for wiring.
4. Corner Plate (See
The corner plate 2 is a lid for covering an octagonal space formed by corner portions of four base units 1 laid via the spacing.
The corner plate 2 is obtained by attaching a woody decorative plate 22 on a surface of a flat plate made from steel, namely, a steel plate 21.
The steel plate 21 is an octagonal plate member obtained by cutting corner portions of a square plate and it includes no leg plate.
The steel plate 21 and the woody decorative plate 22 are not the same in size, but both plates are similar, where the woody decorative plate 22 is slightly larger than the steel plate 21.
As a result, an engaging edge 23 obtained by extending one portion of the decorative plate 22 so as to slightly project from the steel plate 21 is formed around the steel plate 21.
5. Connection of Corner Plate 2 and Base Unit 1 (See
A claw 24 is provided on a side of the corner plate 2 and an engaging groove is provided on a side of the base unit 1 in order to connect the corner plate 2 and the base unit 1.
That is, the claw 24 projecting outside the decorative plate is formed on a face of the corner plate 2 contacting with the base unit 1 by extending one portion of the steel plate.
A root portion of the claw 24 is formed as a narrow neck portion 25, so that cutting is easily made at the neck portion 25 by raising the claw 24 using a pair of pliers or the like.
The claw 24 can be removed from the steel plate 21 by performing cutting at the neck portion 25.
On the other, a window roof portion 15 is formed in the base unit 1 by cutting a lower portion of a side of the decorative plate 11 positioned adjacent to a corner plate 2 in a recessed manner.
A drawing hole 16 is formed by cutting a portion of the steel plate positioned below the window roof portion 15 in a semi-circular shape.
Engaging claws 17 are formed on an edge portion of the steel plate defining the drawing hole 16 in a projecting manner.
The engaging claws 17 of a side of the base unit 1 are engaged with the claw 24 of the corner plate 2, so that the corner plate 2 and the base unit 1 can be engaged with each other.
6. Cutoff Lines in Decorative Plate
Even if the claw 24 is removed by cutting at the necked portion 25 from the corner plate 2, the decorative plate 22 on the steel plate 21 remains.
Therefore, two cutoff lines 26 are formed on a portion of the decorative plate 22 on the claw 24 corresponding to a position of the claw 24 in a cutting manner.
With such a constitution, a portion of the decorative plate 22 positioned between the cutoff lines 26 can be easily removed by knocking a chisel in a root portion between two cutoff lines 26.
7. Channel Plate 3
The channel plate 3 is a rectangular lid for covering a groove defined by two adjacent base units 1 laid via the spacing.
Therefore, the channel plate 3 is constituted by attaching a woody decorative plate 32 on a steel plate 31.
The channel plate 3 can be disposed between the base units 1 by placing the channel plate 3 on the reception plates 14 of the base units 1 formed so as to project outside.
8. Arrangement of Respective Units
Next, a method for placing a double floor will be explained.
As described above, the base units 1 are disposed on a floor face via spacing regarding front and rear directions and left and right directions.
The spacing in this case corresponds to a width of the channel plate 3, and it constitutes a passage for a wire.
One sheet of channel plate 3 is fitted in a space between two base units 1 corresponding to the passage.
The channel plate 3 constitutes a lid for covering the passage for a wire.
Further, the corner plate 2 is fitted in a space defined by corner portions of four base units 1.
At that time, the claws 24 at the corner portions of the corner plates 2 are inserted in the space so as to be engaged with engaging claws 17 at the corner portions of the base units 1.
A wire within the passage can be bent at a right angle and arranged in the portion defined by the corner portions of four base units 1.
9. Drawing-Out of Wire From Corner (See
When a wire within the passage for a wire covered by the channel plate 3 should be drawn out on a surface of the double floor, the wire is drawn out at a position of the corner plate 2.
In that case, as described above, the claw 24 projecting outside the decorative plate 22 is formed on a face of the corner plate 2 contacting with the base unit 1 by extending one portion of the steel plate 21.
The root portion of the claw 24 is formed as a narrow neck portion 25, so that cutting is easily made at the neck portion 25 by raising the claw 24 using a pair of pliers.
Therefore, the claw 24 is removed by cutting the necked portion 24 from the corner plate 2 from which a wire should be drawn out.
On the other hand, as described above, two cutoff lines 26 corresponding to the position of the claw 24 are formed in a portion of the decorative plate 22 positioned on the claw 24 in a cutting manner.
Therefore, a portion of the decorative plate 22 positioned between the two cutoff lines 26 is removed by knocking a chisel in the portion surrounded with two cutoff lines 26.
The drawing hole 16 below the window roof portion 15 of the base unit 1 and a removed portion from the decorative plate 22 of the corner plate 2 are put in communication with each other by removing a portion of the decorative plate 22.
A wire within the double floor is drawn out on a floor face of the double floor via the communication portion.
Thus, in the double floor attached with a decorative plate, a wire can be easily drawn out of a corner plate 2 at a required position.
It is readily apparent that the above-described invention has the advantages of wide commercial utility. It may be understood that the specific form of the invention hereinabove described is intended to be representative only, and certain modifications within the scope of those teachings will be apparent to those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
