Abstract
A drawer lateral wall for a drawer includes a groove for receiving an edge of a drawer base, the groove having an upper mounting web and a lower mounting web spaced therefrom and running essentially parallel. A side surface of the drawer lateral wall is formed from a one-piece sheet metal piece, and the groove together with the two mounting webs are formed from the sheet metal piece by bending to form a hollow profile. Into the hollow profile, at least one profile body preferably made of plastic, is inserted to stabilize the hollow profile in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the drawer lateral wall. Preferably, the profile body has a shape adapted to the inner shape of the hollow profile, and the profile body has the same cross-sectional shape as the sheet metal piece at least near the groove.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a drawer lateral wall for a drawer, and to an arrangement comprising at least one such drawer lateral wall and at least one drawer extraction guide.

Drawer lateral walls for a drawer comprising at least one groove extending in a longitudinal direction of the drawer lateral wall for receiving an edge of a drawer base, wherein the groove has at least one upper mounting web and a lower mounting web spaced therefrom and running substantially parallel, between which the edge of the drawer base can be arranged, are known in the prior art. These drawer lateral walls have a welded container rail in the lower region, on which the lower mounting web is arranged.

The disadvantage is that the drawer lateral walls are complex to manufacture and expensive due to the welding of the container rail. In addition, tolerances for the groove result in relatively large deviations.

WO 2010036215 A2, DE 9318382 U1, DE 202009005203, EP 3714735 and WO 2022115890 A1 show drawer lateral walls according to the prior art.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The object of the present invention is to at least partially remedy the disadvantages described and to provide a drawer lateral wall that is improved compared to the prior art and an arrangement of at least one drawer lateral wall improved in this way and at least one drawer extraction guide, which is in particular characterized by a simplified production and/or a batter tolerance situation.

In the drawer lateral wall, at least one lateral surface of the drawer lateral wall is formed from a one-piece sheet metal piece, and the groove together with the two mounting webs is formed into the sheet metal piece by bending.

This creates the prerequisite for the drawer lateral wall to be designed without an additional container rail, which simplifies the production of the drawer lateral wall. Furthermore, the groove together with the two mounting webs is formed into the sheet metal piece by bending (i.e. the two mounting webs are not arranged on two different components, but in a single component, namely the sheet metal piece). This reduces tolerance-related deviations. This allows the edge of the drawer base to be held more securely in the groove.

Furthermore, according to the invention, the piece of sheet metal forms a hollow profile, preferably with a U-shaped cross-section. At least one profile body, preferably at least two profile bodies spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the drawer lateral wall, preferably made of plastic, is inserted into the hollow profile, which profile body stabilizes the hollow profile at least in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the drawer lateral wall. Preferably, the at least one profile body has a shape adapted to the inner shape of the hollow profile, and the at least one profile body has the same cross-sectional shape as the sheet metal piece at least in the region of the groove.
