Abstract
A dress able container. The container is made of a moldable material that can be inflated after molding. The container is molded in the form of a human baby and can be dressed in human baby clothes.
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention generally relates to the field of balloon sculpturing and more particularly, is directed to a dress able inflatable container in the form of, for example a doll, that can be dressed in human-like clothing.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

As known in the art, a balloon is a flexible container or bag that can be inflated with a gas. Gases used for such purposes include helium and hydrogen. These gases are lighter than air and is the reason that balloons rise when released.

Balloons are traditionally made from substances such as latex, rubber, polychloroprene or nylon fabric, depending on the particular use of the balloon.

Balloon modeling or sculpturing is a favorite entertainment activity of clowns who skillfully twist elongated balloons into recognizable characters, such as animals and the like. Other people who create these kinds of sculptors are sometimes called “twisters” and perform at public events to display their skills.

While balloon modeling and sculpturing has filled a need in the art for an activity that is entertaining and brings joy to many, the present invention is directed to a new and novel use of the concept of an inflatable container or bag.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING

The novel features of the present invention are set out with particularity in the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment. However, the invention will be understood more fully and clearly from the detailed description of the invention as set forth in the accompanying drawings in which:

FIG. 1 illustrates a profile of a mold for a container in accordance with the present invention;

FIGS. 2 and 3 illustrate a latex filled vat for forming the container of the present invention using the mold illustrated in FIG. 1;

FIGS. 4 and 5 illustrate the inflatable container of the present invention dressed in baby clothes; and

FIG. 6 illustrates the inflatable container of the present invention molded in a plurality of attachable parts.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawing.

The invention involves making a mold of an inflatable container have a profile, in this embodiment, of a human baby as shown in the FIG. 1. The mold is formed with a head 1, neck 2, torso 3, legs 5 and inflation nozzle 6.

The mold is fabricated in the size of the uninflated container. However, the head, neck, torso and legs are formed in proportion to the size of a real human body.

As shown in FIG. 2, a vat 20 containing liquid latex 21 is prepared in order to receive the mold. Other suitable molding materials may be used as well. The mold is then dipped into vat 20 as illustrated in FIG. 3 to allow the latex to adhere to the mold and form the container. After dipping, the mold is allowed to cool and then is subjected to a vulcanizing oven where inflation nozzle 6 is completed in order to complete formation of the container.

When the container is inflated through nozzle 6 to, for example, the size of a new born baby, the size of the head, neck, torso and legs will remain in the correct proportions. This will allow the container, now resembling a new born baby, to be dressed in regular human baby clothes that can be purchased or otherwise acquired as would be the case for a human baby.

The container can be inflated to define the desired age of the baby. For a 2-month-old baby for example, the container can be inflated to the sized of a typical 2-month-old and so on and so forth.

FIGS. 4 and 5 illustrate the inflatable container dressed with baby clothes in accordance with the present invention.

FIG. 6 illustrates the container, resembling a human baby form, molded in a plurality of parts, including a head 61, torso 62, arms 63 and 66 and legs 64 and 65. Once molded the constituent parts can be attached to torso 62 such as by gluing, or by a thermal melting process as known in the art in order to form the completed structure.

While the foregoing specification and drawings teaches the principles of the present invention, with examples provided for the purpose of illustration, it will be appreciated by one skilled in the art from reading this disclosure that various changes in form and detail can be made without departing from the true scope of the invention.
