Claims
- 1. A drive device for a household appliance having an electric motor, the drive device comprising:
a motor fastening device for fastening the electric motor to the appliance; and an insulator disposed between said fastening device and the electric motor for electrically insulating the electric motor from said fastening device, said insulator having a defined resistance for discharging electrostatic charges from the electric motor.
- 2. The drive device according to claim 1, wherein said insulating means is of a material selected from the group consisting of a conductive plastic and a plastic with an admixture of a conductive material.
- 3. The drive device according to claim 1, wherein said conductive material is at least one of carbon and metal powder.
- 4. The drive device according to claim 1, wherein said resistance of said insulator between the electric motor and said fastening device is between approximately 0.5 megaohm and approximately 2 megaohms.
- 5. The drive device according to claim 1, wherein said resistance of said insulator between the electric motor and said fastening device is approximately 1 megaohm.
- 6. The drive device according to claim 1, further comprising a contact pressure device disposed between the electric motor and said fastening device for producing a defined contact pressure.
- 7. The drive device according to claim 1, further comprising a means producing a defined contact pressure between the electric motor and said fastening device.
- 8. The drive according to claim 6, wherein said contact pressure device is a screw tightened with a defined torque.
- 9. The drive device according to claim 1, wherein:
said fastening device has a first clearance for receiving a screw shank of a screw having a screw head with a seating surface; and an insulating layer is disposed under the seating surface of the screw head.
- 10. The drive device according to claim 8, wherein:
said screw has a screw shank and a screw head with a seating surface; said fastening device has a first clearance for receiving said screw shank; and an insulating layer is disposed under said seating surface of said screw head.
- 11. The drive device according to claim 10, further comprising an arresting pin of an electrically nonconductive material or coated with a nonconductive material, said fastening device having at least a second clearance for receiving said arresting pin.
- 12. The drive device according to claim 1, wherein:
said fastening device has at least one projection for being received in a corresponding clearance; and an insulating layer of an electrically nonconductive material is disposed between said at least one projection and the corresponding clearance.
- 13. A direct drive device for a household appliance having an electric motor, the direct drive device comprising:
a motor fastening device for fastening the electric motor to the appliance; and an insulator disposed between said fastening device and the electric motor for electrically insulating the electric motor from said fastening device, said insulator having a defined resistance for discharging electrostatic charges from the electric motor.
- 14. An indirect drive device for a household appliance having an electric motor, the indirect drive device comprising:
a motor fastening device for fastening the electric motor to the appliance, said fastening device having a one-arm fastening for the electric motor; and an insulator disposed between said fastening device and the electric motor for electrically insulating the electric motor from said fastening device, said insulator having a defined resistance for discharging electrostatic charges from the electric motor.
- 15. A drive device for a household appliance having an electric motor, the drive device comprising:
a means for fastening the electric motor to the appliance; and a means for electrically insulating the electric motor from said fastening means disposed between said fastening means and the electric motor, said insulating means having a defined resistance for discharging electrostatic charges from the electric motor.
- 16. In a household appliance having an electric motor, a drive device comprising:
a motor fastening device for fastening the electric motor to the appliance; and an insulator disposed between said fastening device and the electric motor for electrically insulating the electric motor from said fastening device, said insulator having a defined resistance for discharging electrostatic charges from the electric motor.
- 17. The appliance according to claim 16, wherein the appliance is a washing machine, a laundry dryer, or a food processor.
- 18. A method for mounting an electric motor at a household appliance with a fastening screw, which comprises:
disposing an insulator of a defined residual conductivity between the electric motor and the household appliance; and tightening a fastening screw with a defined torque to press the insulator between the electric motor and the household appliance with a defined contact pressure and to produce a defined transition resistance.
- 19. A method for mounting an electric motor at a household appliance, which comprises:
disposing an insulator of a defined residual conductivity between the electric motor and the household appliance; mounting the electric motor at the household appliance with a fastening screw; and tightening a fastening screw with a defined torque to press the insulator between the electric motor and the household appliance with a defined contact pressure and to produce a defined transition resistance.
