The subject matter of this invention is the changing of an item (jeans) to accommodate a younger generation, and to eliminate problems with schools and other authority. Namely because of the pants hanging below the top of the buttocks. The invention and idea will eventually be presented and sold to a reputable clothing manufacturer, once the patent is obtained.
The apparent desire of many of the younger generation today is, to have their clothing fit very loose and droopy, especially pants, usually some type of jeans.
These individuals eventually run into conflicts and problems with schools and various different officials.
The general idea of this invention is to give the individual the clothing item with the look that they are seeking, with the additional benefit of being protected from harassment from any officials. (as mentioned in the background of the invention).
I. Belt: To be made out of same material as shorts, with elastic sewn in.
II. Snap: Behind belt.
III. “Boxing Shorts”: Type of material to be sewn into jeans.
IV. Pants: Permanently attached garment to be opened at shorts.
V. “Droop Loops”: On each side for appearance of holding pants up. Droop loops will be made of jean material.
VI. Velcro opening.
The reason for this invention is because of the fact that the younger generation these days want to wear their clothes baggy, loose, and droopy. The “old school” generation doesn't like to see someones pants hanging off of their buttocks. This idea and product would solve both problems, as well as any legal problems with school officials, etc.
The belt on the shorts will support the pants, as well as the shorts, while still appearing to be very droopy, nearly falling off. Yet because of the belt being made of the same material as the shorts, it will be hardly noticeable.
The “Droop Loops”, (previously referred to as “Habit Loops” in the U.S. provisional application No. 61/850,085). are for holding on to for those who have a habit of holding their pants up or holding their crotch. It gives the wearer something to do with their hands, appearing to hold up the pants, while this is no longer necessary.
A snap and velcro on the shorts is all that is necessary to open or remove the pants, so the pants part of the garment can be permanently closed.
