Claims
- 1. A container for pharmaceuticals, comprising:
- a carrier disk,
- a plurality of inwardly projecting tabs on the carrier disk; and
- a shell on substantially each tab.
- 2. The container of claim 1 wherein the shell comprises aluminum foil.
- 3. The container or claim 1 wherein the tabs are separated from carrier disk all around by a gap, except at a hinge line where the tabs are attached to the carrier disk.
- 4. A container for individual doses of a pharmaceutical, comprising:
- a carrier disk having a central opening;
- a plurality of equally radially spaced apart tabs pivotably attached to the carrier disk, the tabs extending inwardly toward the central opening;
- a shear layer on the disk and blisters; and
- a blister attached to the shear layer on substantially each tab.
- 5. A container for a pharmaceutical, comprising:
- a carrier;
- a plurality of sealed compartments on the carrier, with the sealed compartments containing a pharmaceutical; and
- a plurality of tabs pivotably attached to the carrier, with each of the tabs associated with one of the compartments, and with each tab having an outer section under a compartment, and an inner section extending towards a center of the carrier.
- 6. The container of claim 5 wherein the carrier and the tabs have the same thickness.
- 7. The container of claim 5 further comprising a shear layer between the tabs and the compartment.
- 8. The container of claim 5 wherein the carrier and the tabs have the same thickness.
- 9. The container of claim 5 wherein the pharmaceutical is a loose dry powder.
- 10. A container for a pharmaceutical, comprising:
- a carrier having a top surface and a bottom surface;
- a plurality of sealed compartments on the top surface of the carrier, with the sealed compartments containing a pharmaceutical; and
- a plurality of tabs pivotably attached on the bottom surface of the carrier, with each of the tabs associated with one of the compartments.
- 11. The container of claim 10 further comprising a shear layer between the tabs and the compartment.
- 12. The container of claim 10 wherein the carrier and the tabs have the same thickness.
- 13. The container of claim 10 wherein the pharmaceutical is a loose dry powder.
