Claims
- 1. A method for manufacturing a print-through form, comprising steps of:
- (a) forming a pattern of openings through a defined area of a first sheet, the pattern comprising at least 4 openings per square millimeter substantially randomly spaced over the defined area of the first sheet, there remaining contiguous portions of the first sheet between any and all openings in the defined area; and
- (b) aligning the first sheet with a second sheet, thereby exposing areas on the second sheet through the pattern of openings in the first sheet to form a first-through form such that a marking substance applied to the first sheet the application thereof forming a letter character on the contiguous portions of the first sheet, marks the second sheet as well through the pattern of openings, and the two sheets separated present the letter character on each of the sheets.
- 2. The method of claim 1 further comprising a step for fixedly mounting the first sheet to the second sheet.
- 3. The method of claim 2 wherein the mounting is accomplished by adhesive applied to at least one of the first and second sheets prior to the mounting step.
- 4. The method of claim 1 wherein the two sheets are formed from a single sheet by folding at a midway point to accomplish the aligning step.
- 5. The method of claim 1 wherein, in the forming step, patterns of openings are formed in at least two sheets with the spacing and location of the openings the same but the area size of the openings in each successive sheet smaller than the previous sheet, and in the aligning step the sheets with patterns of openings are aligned one above the other in descending order of opening size over a base sheet to make the print-through form, such that areas on each sheet are exposed from the side of the openings.
- 6. The method of claim 1 wherein the pattern of openings is a regular matrix of round holes forming regular rows and columns.
