Claims
- 1. An extension tube system for a dust particulate dispenser, comprising:
- at least one flexible duster extension tube having a predetermined length and including a central body portion having a first diameter, a first end having a second diameter larger than said first diameter, and a second end, opposite said first end;
- said first end including a coupling region, for removably engaging said first end of said extension tube with an outlet region of said dust particulate dispenser;
- said second end including a dust particulate dispensing region having a third diameter smaller than said first diameter; and
- a dust particulate collecting region proximate said second end and formed in a region of said at least one extension tube between said first diameter of said central body portion and said third diameter of said dust particulate dispensing region, for collecting dust particulates and preventing dust particulates from spilling out of said second end of said at least one flexible duster extension tube.
- 2. The extension tube system of claim 1, further including an extension tube cleaner having a predetermined length longer than said predetermined length of said at least one flexible duster extension tube and having an extension tube cleaning element proximate a first end of said extension tube cleaner, said extension tube cleaning element adapted for being inserted into said first end of said at least one flexible duster extension tube and for causing dust particulates remaining in said at least one flexible duster extension tube to be expelled from said second end and said dust particulate collecting region when said flexible duster extension tube cleaning element is moved within said at least one extension tube from said first end of said at least one flexible duster extension tube toward said second end.
- 3. The extension tube system of claim 1, wherein said tube system includes a plurality of said flexible duster extension tubes, with each of said tubes having first ends and second ends, and each said first end of each said plurality of flexible duster extension tubes is adapted to be engaged with each said second end of the remaining tubes of said plurality of flexible duster extension tubes.
- 4. The extension tube system of claim 2, wherein said extension tube cleaner includes a gripping portion proximate a second end, said gripping portion adapted to be held for inserting said extension tube cleaning element into said first end of said at least one flexible duster extension tube.
- 5. The extension tube system of claim 1, wherein said dust particulate collecting region includes a rounded pocket formed between said body portion having a first diameter and said second end having a third diameter.
- 6. A method of using the extension tube system of claim 2, comprising the steps of:
- interconnecting a first end of said at least one flexible duster extension tube with said outlet region of said dust particulate dispenser;
- dispensing dust particulates through said at least one flexible duster extension tube;
- removing said first end of said at least one flexible duster extension tube from said outlet region of said dust particulate dispenser;
- inserting a flexible duster extension tube cleaner into said first end of said at least one flexible duster extension tube; and
- moving said extension tube cleaner from said first end toward a second end of said flexible duster extension tube to expel remaining dust particulates from said flexible duster extension tube.
- 7. The method of claim 6, wherein said remaining dust particulates are expelled into a dust recovery container.
- 8. The method of claim 7, wherein said dust recovery container includes a container which originally held said remaining dust particulates.
- 9. The method of claim 6, further including the step of:
- trapping remaining dust particulates in a dust particulate collecting region formed in said at least one flexible duster extension tube, after dispensing dust particulates through said at least one flexible duster extension tube.
- 10. The method of claim 6, further including:
- interconnecting a plurality of flexible duster extension tubes in series prior to dispensing said dust particulates, said step of interconnecting a plurality of flexible duster extension tubes including the step of serially interconnecting a first end of at least one additional flexible duster extension tube to said second end of said at least one flexible duster extension tube attached to said outlet region of said dust particulate dispenser dispensing dust particulates through said plurality of flexible duster extension tubes;
- removing said at least one additional flexible duster extension tube from said second end of said at least one flexible duster extension tube;
- sequentially inserting said flexible duster extension tube cleaner into said first end of each of said plurality of flexible duster extension tubes; and
- moving said tube cleaner from said first end of each said plurality of flexible duster extension tubes toward a second end of each of said plurality of flexible duster extension tubes to expel said remaining dust particulates.
