Claims
- 1. A method of producing a lubricious coating comprising an emulsion or dispersion of a semi-solid polymer, an acrylic polymer particle, and water, the method comprising:
mixing the emulsion with the acrylic polymer to form a slurry, and subsequently combining it with water, wherein the water is added to the slurry as the slurry is dispensed to a target surface.
- 2. A method of producing a lubricious coating comprising an emulsion or dispersion of a semi-solid polymer, an acrylic polymer particle, and water, the method comprising:
mixing the emulsion with the acrylic polymer to form a slurry, and subsequently combining it with water, wherein the water is added to the slurry after the slurry is dispensed to a target surface.
- 3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the emulsion comprises about 75% of the slurry, and the anionic acrylamide polymer comprises about 25% of the slurry.
- 4. The method according to claim 1, wherein a ratio of water to slurry is about 20:1 by volume or by weight.
- 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein a ratio of water to slurry is about 10:1 by volume or by weight.
- 6. The method according to claim 2, wherein the emulsion comprises about 75% of the slurry, and the anionic acrylamide polymer comprises about 25% of the slurry.
- 7. The method according to claim 2, wherein a ratio of water to slurry is about 20:1 by volume or by weight.
- 8. The method according to claim 1, wherein a ratio of water to slurry is about 10:1 by volume or by weight.
