Description

Drawing A: 1.Rope: Diameter, 3/16 inch to ¼ inch. Must have tensile strength equal to at least double the weight of the bag to be lifted.

2. Handles: (2 required) ⅞ inch or greater in diameter. Distance between holes 4 inches to 6 inches. Holes must be slightly larger than rope diameter to allow easy passage.

1. This device provides a convenient and secure means for gripping and supporting various bags for lifting.

2. This device is easily adjustable for a large variety of bag sizes.

5. The positioning of the rope sling, minimally engaged under the edges and corners of the bag, will remain engaged during lifting due to the direction of tension forces. The rope tension supplied by the lifting force has a residual component radiating inward along the length of the rope thereby supplying the forces required to maintain the rope in position under the bag.
