Abstract
An easy-to-carry outdoor leisure-purpose bracket includes a main body that includes two clamp arms each having a closed end and an open end, the closed ends being combined together and formed with at least one clamping hole perpendicular to the clamp arms, one of the clamp arms being formed with a retaining engagement portion protruded toward another one of the clamp arms, the another one of the clamp arms being recessed to form a notch corresponding to the retaining engagement portion; a locking unit, which is arranged on the main body at a predetermined location and is operable to selectively close the clamp arms together; and two fixing units, which are respectively and rotatably mounted on the open ends of the clamp arms, and each is operable to attach the main body to a surface in a removable manner.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
(a) Technical Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a bracket, and more particularly to an easy-to-carry outdoor leisure-purpose bracket that is easy to carry and install.


(b) Description of the Prior Art

Camping in the wild is prevailing recently. People drives to a camp site and enjoy the natural environment. To protect against intense sunlight or rains, it often needs to set up an umbrella. However, an umbrella needs to be held on a sound base to prevent tilting. It is hard for people to carry and transport with a large base, and consequently, it is still difficult for people to set up a large-sized umbrella by themselves.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an easy-to-carry outdoor leisure-purpose bracket, which can be set up on a surface of a sound object to provide supporting, so as to allow a user to clamp an object, such as an umbrella center post thereon and being easy to carry.


To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides an easy-to-carry outdoor leisure-purpose bracket, which comprises a main body, which comprises two clamp arms, each of the clamp arms having a closed end and an open end, the closed ends of the clamp arms being combined together, the closed ends being formed with at least one clamping hole that is perpendicular to the clamp arms, so that the clamping hole is openable/closable with each of the open ends, one of the clamp arms being formed with a retaining engagement portion protruded toward another one of the clamp arms, said another one of the clamp arms being recessed to form a notch corresponding to the retaining engagement portion; a locking unit, which is arranged on the main body at a predetermined location, the locking unit being operable to selectively close the clamp arms together; and two fixing units, which are respectively and rotatably mounted on the open ends of the clamp arms, each of the fixing units being operable to attach the main body to a surface in a removable manner.


To use the present invention, a user first unlocks the locking unit and places an object to be clamped (such as an umbrella post) into the opened clamping hole. The user than applies the locking unit to close the clamp arms tightly together, with the retaining engagement portion of one of the clamp arms fit into the notch of another one of the clamp arms to ensure the two clamp arms are tightly closed together, and the clamping hole may then securely clamp the object. The user then uses the fixing units to attach the present invention to a solid surface, such as a body of a vehicle, and the present invention may then securely support the object set up by the user. Since each of the fixing units is rotatable, even when the surface on which the present invention is mounted is slightly inclined, the user may rotate each of the fixing units to adjust an angle thereof, and lock each of the fixing units after the adjustment of angle in order to prevent movement.


The locking unit comprises a rotatable screw rod mounted on one of the clamp arms, and another one of the clamp arms is provided with a threaded hole corresponding to the locking unit to allow the user to close or open the clamp arms through rotating the locking unit. The retaining engagement portion can be a thumb tack. Each of the fixing units can be a suction cup to allow the user to securely set up the present invention without concern about damaging of the surface to which the present invention is attached.


To allow the present invention to securely attach on a surface of an object, the open end of each of the clamp arms is extended in a direction away from each other in order to increase the distance between the fixing units to provide the present invention with a better performance for resisting an external force Further, a preset angle is formed between the fixing units, and the preset angle is less than 180 degrees when the clamp arms are closed on each other, so as to allow the present invention to better accommodate a curve of a vehicle body or a vehicle window to achieve an effect of more tightly attaching.


The present invention may securely clamp an object, and is easy to carry and easy to set up, so that a user may easily set up a large object, such as an umbrella, in the outdoor.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, drawings of an embodiment of the present invention are shown, and as shown in the drawings, the present invention provides an easy-to-carry outdoor leisure-purpose bracket, which comprises a main body 1, which comprises two clamp arms 11, wherein each of the clamp arms 11 has a closed end 12 and an open end 13, and the closed ends 12 of the clamp arms 11 are combined together, the closed ends 12 being jointly formed with at least one clamping hole 121 that is perpendicular to the clamp arms 11, such that the clamping hole 121 is openable/closable with each of the open ends 13, wherein in the instant embodiment, two clamping holes 121 of different diameters are provided to allow a user to clamp objects of different diameters, and further, each of the clamp arms 11 is formed with two separate half holes to jointly and respectively define the clamping holes 121 when the clamp arms 11 are closed together, and one of the clamp arms 11 is provided with a retaining engagement portion 14 protruded toward another one of clamp arms 11, and said another one of the clamp arms 11 is recessed to form a notch 15 corresponding to the retaining engagement portion 14, wherein in FIG. 1, the one of the clamp arms 11 on the right side is protruded to form the retaining engagement portion 14 projecting toward the one of the clamp arms 11 on the left side, while the one of the clamp arms 11 on the left side is recessed to form the notch 15 to correspond to the retaining engagement portion 14, and wherein in the instant embodiment, the retaining engagement portion 14 is in the form of a thumb tack; a locking unit 2, which is mounted on the main body 1 at a predetermined location, the locking unit 2 being selectively lock the clamp arms 11, wherein in the instant embodiment, the locking unit 2 comprises a rotatable screw rod mounted on one of the clamp arms 11 and another one of the clamp arms 11 is provided with a threaded hole 21 corresponding to the locking unit 2, so that the user lock or unlock the clamp arms 11 by rotating the locking unit 2; and, two fixing units 3, which are respectively mounted on the open ends 13 of the clamp arms 11, each of the fixing units 3 attaching the main body 1 to a surface in a removable manner, wherein in the instant embodiment, each of the fixing units 3 comprises a suction cup, which allows the user to securely set up the present invention without concern about damaging of the surface to which the present invention is attached.


As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, when the present invention is collapsed, the retaining engagement portion 14 of one of the clamp arms 11 is fit into the notch 15 of another one of the clamp arms 11 to ensure close combination of the two clamp arms 11. To allow the present invention to securely attach on a surface of an object, in the instant embodiment, the open end 13 of each of the clamp arms 11 is curved and extended in a direction away from each other in order to increase the distance between the fixing units 3 to provide the present invention with a better performance for resisting an external force. In the instant embodiment, the locking unit 2 is arranged between the retaining engagement portion 14 and the closed end 12, and the retaining engagement portion 14 is arranged between the locking unit 2 and the open end 13.


As shown in FIG. 3, in the instant embodiment, a preset angle 4 is formed between the fixing units 3, and the preset angle 4 is less than 180 degrees when the clamp arms 11 are closed on each other, so as to allow the present invention to accommodate a curve of a vehicle body B or a vehicle window to achieve an effect of more tightly attaching.


As shown in FIG. 4, to use the instant embodiment, the user first unlocks the locking unit 2 and places an object to be clamped (such as an umbrella post A) into one of the opened clamping holes 121. The user then applies the locking unit 2 to close the clamp arms 11 tightly together, so that the clamping hole 121 may securely clamp the umbrella post A. The user then uses the fixing units 3 to attach the present invention to a solid surface, such as a body B of a vehicle. The present invention can securely support the umbrella post A set up by the user. Generally, people use vehicles as transportation to the wild, and the present invention that can be mounted on the vehicle body B frees the concern about where to mount the present invention. The fixing units 3 are each rotatably by means of a rotating axle 31, and even when the surface on which the present invention is mounted is slightly inclined, the user may rotate each of the fixing units 3 to adjust an angle thereof. Further, the rotating axle 31 may be provided with a locking function, so that after the adjustment of angle, each of the fixing units 3 can be individually locked to prevent unnecessary rotating.


The present invention may securely clamp an object, and is easy to carry and easy to set up, so that a user may easily set up a large object, such as an umbrella, in the outdoor.

Claims
  • 1. An easy-to-carry outdoor leisure-purpose bracket, comprising: a main body, which comprises two clamp arms, each of the clamp arms having a closed end and an open end, the closed ends of the clamp arms being combined together, the closed ends being formed with at least one clamping hole that is perpendicular to the clamp arms, so that the clamping hole is openable/closable with each of the open ends, one of the clamp arms being formed with a retaining engagement portion protruded toward another one of the clamp arms, said another one of the clamp arms being recessed to form a notch corresponding to the retaining engagement portion;a locking unit, which is arranged on the main body at a predetermined location, the locking unit being operable to selectively close the clamp arms together; andtwo fixing units, which are respectively and rotatably mounted on the open ends of the clamp arms, each of the fixing units being operable to attach the main body to a surface in a removable manner.
  • 2. The easy-to-carry outdoor leisure-purpose bracket according to claim 1, wherein the locking unit comprises a rotatable screw rod arranged on one of the clamp arms, and another one of the clamp arms is formed with a threaded hole corresponding to the locking unit, each of the fixing units comprising a suction cup.
  • 3. The easy-to-carry outdoor leisure-purpose bracket according to claim 1, wherein the open end of each of the clamp arms is extended in a direction away from each other.
  • 4. The easy-to-carry outdoor leisure-purpose bracket according to claim 1, wherein a preset angle is formed between the fixing units, and the preset angle is less than 180 degrees when the clamp arms are closed together.
