The present invention relates to elastic beds, and particular to an elastic bed having a plurality of support springs; wherein each support spring is formed by a steel strip which is firstly circularly arranged along an orientation to a bottom of the framework and then circularly arranged along an opposite orientation to an upper side of the framework.
The prior art elastic bed can be classified into two classes.
In one class, a framework formed by steel strips with larger diameters is used. A plurality of auxiliary frames are installed to the framework. A plurality of support springs are arranged between the plurality of auxiliary frames. The support spring is made of steel strip with a diameter smaller than that of the framework. This kind of elastic bed has advantages of low cost. However, the support springs are overlapped with one another so that the interconnection and interactions of the support springs will make one lying upon the elastic bed feel uneasy.
In another kind of elastic bed, a plurality of independent cylindrical support springs are installed with a framework. The support springs are made of rigid material and enclosed within cotton covers so as to form as independent cylinders. Since the support springs are arranged independently so that the action in one portion of the elastic bed will not affect another portion of the bed. Thereby, it provides a preferred quality to the sleeper. However, this kind of elastic beds is expensive and thus it is not accepted by most users.
Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide an elastic bed, wherein the elastic bed comprises an elastic bed body having a framework; and a plurality of support springs; wherein each support spring is formed by a steel strip which is firstly circularly arranged along an orientation to a bottom of the framework and then circularly arranged along an opposite orientation to an upper side of the framework; then the process is repeated to a predetermined length. Thereby, it can make the user feel comfortable and is cheap.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an elastic bed, wherein a plurality of enhancing supports are connected between the upper frame and the lower frame so as to prevent the bed to deform due to a great pressure applied thereon.
A further object of the present invention is to provide an elastic bed, wherein each support spring is spaced to another spring with a length greater than a predetermined one so that no support spring is overlapped to another one. Thereby, no noise is generated.
The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.
In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be described in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.
The elastic bed of the present invention is illustrated with reference to
An elastic bed body 1 has a framework 10 having an upper frame and a lower frame (in the drawing, a rectangular elastic bed is used as an example, but the present invention is not confined by this example) and a plurality of support springs 20.
The framework 10 is used to support an object placed upon the elastic bed. The framework 10 is formed by rigid steel bodies. The plurality of support springs 20 serves to support the framework 10.
With reference to
Each support spring 20 is spaced to another spring 20 with a length greater than a predetermined one so that no support spring 20 is overlapped to another one. Thereby, when a pressure is applied upon the elastic bed body 1. No noise is generated.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
