DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

In order to learn technical content and functions of the present invention more completely and clearly, please refer to the following embodiments with detailed descriptions together with the related figures and reference numerals therein.

Refer to FIG. 1, FIG. 2, and FIG. 3, an elastic stretchable lid capable of absorbing moisture according to the present invention includes a lid body 1 and a hallow cap 2.

The lid body 1 is made of soft and elastic materials such as silicone rubber, rubber, etc. and composed of a plurality of grooves 11, a seal ring 12, a plurality of protruding pieces 13, and a through hole 14. The grooves 11 are circularly disposed on a surface of the lid body 1 so that the lid body 1 can be stretched up much more due to the grooves 11. The seal ring 12 is arranged at the circumference of the lid body 1 while the protruding pieces 13 are disposed around and extended outward from the seal ring 12. The through hole 14 is formed at a center of the lid body 1.

The hollow cap 2 is mounted and fixed in the through hole 14. The hollow cap 2 consists of an opening 21, at least one air hole 22, at least one sensing hole 23, a moisture-absorbing member 24, a moisture measurement unit 25, and a plate 26. The opening 21 is formed on a bottom of the hollow cap 2 while the plate 26 is movably placed on the opening 21 and provided with the at least one air hole 22 for absorbing moisture. The at least one sensing hole 23 is disposed on a top of the hollow cap 2 and the moisture-absorbing member 24 which is a block formed by molding of porous powder blended with adhesives is mounted in the hollow cap 2. The block-shaped moisture-absorbing member 24 can be regenerated by being heated to recover the moisture absorption capacity and thus absorb moisture again. The moisture measurement unit 25 is mounted to the top of the hollow cap 2 and aligned with the respective at least one sensing hole 23 to indicate moisture saturation degree of the moisture-absorbing member 24.

Refer to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, another embodiment is disclosed. The hallow cap 2 is integrally formed on the center of the lid body 1 and composed of an opening 21, at least one air hole 22, at least one sensing hole 23, a moisture-absorbing member 24, a moisture measurement unit 25, and a plate 26. The at least one air hole 22 are formed on a bottom of the hallow cap 2 and the opening 21 is formed on a top of the hallow cap 2. The plate 26 is movably placed on the opening 21 and provided with the at least one sensing hole 23 while the moisture-absorbing member 24 which is a block formed by molding of porous powder blended with adhesives is mounted in the hollow cap 2. The moisture-absorbing member 24 can be regenerated by being heated and thus used again. The moisture measurement unit 25 is arranged at the top end of the hollow cap 2 and aligned with the respective at least one sensing hole 23 for showing degree of saturation of the moisture-absorbing member 24.

While in use, as shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, users can easily remove the lid body 1 due to soft and elastic materials for the lid body 1. At the same time, the stretchable lid body 1 is provided with grooves 11 arranged at the surface of the lid body 1 circularly so that the lid body 1 can stretch up much more and fit over different types and sizes of containers 3. A secure fit of the lid body 1 around an opening of the container 3 is achieved by the seal ring 12 on the circumference of the lid body 1. Thereby the container 3 is closed by the lid body 1. Now the hallow cap 2 at the center of the lid body 1 is just located in the container 3 so that the moisture-absorbing member 24 starts absorbing moisture inside the closed container 3 through the respective at least one air hole 22 to keep inner space of the container 3 dry and prevent objects stored in the container from deterioration or mold growth. The moisture absorbed by the moisture-absorbing member 24 can be detected and displayed by the moisture measurement unit 25 through the at least one sensing hole 23 so that users can learn the moisture saturation degree of the moisture-absorbing member 24 and further take the corresponding response such as replace or regenerate the moisture-absorbing member 24.

Moreover, when users intend to open the lid body 1, they can apply force to the protruding pieces 13 by their fingers conveniently and remove the lid body 1 from the opening of the container 3 easily.

Furthermore, while the moisture-absorbing member 24 in the hollow cap 2 is saturated and required to be replaced or regenerated, the upper or the plate 26 of the hallow cap 2 is opened and the moisture-absorbing member 24 is taken out through the opening 21. Then the moisture-absorbing member 24 is heated to regenerate for recovering moisture absorption capacity or the moisture-absorbing member 24 is replaced by a new one directly. Thereby the moisture-absorbing member 24 starts to work again.

In summary, the present invention has the following advantages compared with the techniques available now:

1. The present invention can be applied to jars or containers in different sizes for reuse. The stretchable lid made of soft and elastic material seals the container while covering the opening of the container to form various types of airtight containers or moisture proof sealed jar. The reuse of jars/containers helps protect the environment.

2. Through the at least one air hole, the moisture-absorbing member in the hollow cap removes residual moisture inside the sealed container to keep the inside of the container dry and further prevent objects stored in the container from deterioration or mold growth. The container is more convenient to use.

3. Users can learn the moisture saturation degree of the moisture-absorbing member by the moisture measurement unit to replace or regenerate the moisture-absorbing member by heating in time. Thereby the moisture absorption capacity is maintained and the moisture-absorbing member absorbs moisture continuously.
