Claims
- 1. An electret tubular nonwoven fabric comprising a tube of nonwoven fabric with a plurality of parallel reinforcing threads disposed within said tubular nonwoven fabric and extending substantially in a circumferential direction of said tubular nonwoven fabric, said nonwoven fabric having a surface charge density of not less than 1.times.10.sup.-10 coulombs/cm.sup.2.
- 2. An electret tubular nonwoven fabric according to claim 1, wherein said tubular nonwoven fabric comprises olefin based fibers and has a polarity of an inner surface and an opposite polarity of an outer surface.
- 3. An electret tubular nonwoven fabric according to claim 1, wherein the nonwoven fabric is formed from melt blown fibers.
- 4. An electret tubular nonwoven fabric according to claim 1, wherein the nonwoven fabric is formed from spun bonded fibers.
- 5. An electret tubular nonwoven fabric according to claim 1, wherein the nonwoven fabric is formed from staple fibers.
- 6. An electret tubular nonwoven fabric according to claim 1, wherein the nonwoven fabric is composed of fibers having a first melting point and fibers having a second melting point higher than said first melting point.
