DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present disclosure will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings:

Referring to an embodiment of an electric splint shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the electric splint, which can be used for straightening hair and curling hair, includes two splint parts 1 clamped to each other and hinged to each other at one end, the splint part 1 comprises an elongated housing 11, a heating-plate component 12 mounted on a clamped side of the housing 11, comb teeth 13 located in a position corresponding to an axial position of the heating-plate component 12 and distributed on an outer surface of the housing 11, and an air duct 14 located inside the housing 11; air outlet holes 15 communicating with the air duct 14 are provided at two side edges of the housing 11 corresponding to a distribution area of the comb teeth 13. The electric splint further includes a fan component 21 and an air inlet 22 for providing cold air to the air duct 14. According to a preferred structure of the splint part 1, after the two splint parts 1 are clamped, the whole is cylindrical, that is, the single splint part 1 is an elongated semi-cylindrical shape, and the inner surface of the electric splint is a flat surface, and the outer surface of the electric splint is a curved surface. The heating source of the heating-plate component 12 is an electric heating body, such as a PTC heating body 122 or an electric heating wire heating body. The comb teeth 13 are preferably plastic teeth with a certain degree of elasticity, certainly, they can also be flexible tufts. The air duct 14 provides the space in the housing 11 through which the air passes, and is used to take away the heat inside the housing 11. The fan component 21 and the air inlet 22 may be two sets respectively provided in the two splint parts 1, or one set providing cold air to the two splint parts 1 at the same time.

The electric splint can used for straightening hair and curling hair, and during the curling operation, the hair is clamped by the inner sides of the two splints, and then the electric splint is rotated to a certain angle, thus the hair is embedded in the comb teeth to be relatively fixed such that it is not easy to loose and slip off, and the hair is finally combed towards the end of the hair, there is no need to fix the hair tail by hand, and DIY curling operation can be realized; after the hair is heated and softened by the heating-plate component 12, the temperature of the hair is relatively high, about 200 degrees Celsius; during the curling process, the hair is cooled down for the first time via the air outlet hole 15 , the cold air blows out from the air duct 14, due to the heat of the heating-plate component 12, it still has a relatively high temperature, the air blowing from the air outlet hole 15 is still about 60-80 degrees Celsius, which can quickly cool the hair, but it is not enough to quickly shape the hair, finally, the hair passes through the area where the comb teeth 13 is located and fits on the surface of the housing 11. On the one hand, the housing 11 in the area where the comb teeth 13 are located is thicker and far from the heating-plate component 12, at the same time, the air duct 14 can be continuously ventilated, and the heat of the heating-plate component 12 is difficult to transfer to the surface of the housing 11 corresponding to the comb teeth 13; on the other hand, the inside of the housing 11 is continuously cooled by the cold air in the air duct 14, thus the temperature of the outer surface is relatively low. When the hair passes through the area of the housing 11 corresponding to the comb teeth 13, it will be cooled by the surface of the housing 11 for a second time, so that the temperature of the hair reaches a temperature for shaping the hair, so as to complete the rapid cooling and shaping and shorten the operation time. However, if the air outlet hole 15 is arranged in the area where the comb teeth 13 are distributed, it will be difficult for the hair to reach the low temperature required for styling when the hair passes through the comb teeth 13 area, in addition, the hair embedded on the comb teeth 13 is not only easily detached from the comb teeth 13 after being directly blown by the air, but also deformed by the air, thereby affecting the styling effect.

In order to make the structure more concise and reasonable and reduce costs, according to a preferred embodiment, the rear end of the hinged part of the two splint parts 1 is also provided with a tail end 2. The fan component 21 and the air inlet 22 are provided at the tail end 2, and the front end of the tail end 2 is in communication with the air ducts 14 of the two splint parts 1. A set of fan components 2b1 can simultaneously send cold air into the air ducts 14 in the two sets of splints 1. Specifically, the tail end 2 includes a cylindrical outer shell 23, and the fan component 21 includes a motor 211 and fan blades 212 axially arranged in the outer shell 23, the air inlet 22 includes air inlet holes arranged on the outer shell 23 and distributed around the circumference. The motor 211 drives the fan blade 212 to rotate, which can drive air to flow into the outer shell 23 from the air inlet hole, and enter into the air ducts 14 of the two sets of splint parts 1 from the front end of the outer shell 23, and finally exhaust from the air outlet holes 15 on both sides of the splint part 1.

In an embodiment, the lower half of the tail end 2 is integrally fixed with the end of one of the splint part 1, and the tail end 2 has a rotating part 24 that can rotate around an axis, a limiting block and a limiting groove that can be axially slid into and matched with each other are provided between the rotating part 24 and the end of the other movable splint part 1, when the limiting block corresponds to the limiting groove in terms of the position, the movable splint part 1 can be opened, at this time, the limiting block axially enters the limiting groove, and when the rotating part 24 is rotated to make the limiting block and the limiting groove mismatched, the movable splint part 1 cannot be opened. After the splint part 1 on the movable side is locked by the rotating part 24, the space occupied by the electric splint is reduced, thereby being convenient for storage, and the rotating part 24 has a simple structure and is easy to operate.

In an embodiment, the comb teeth 13 are provided in the front section of the splint part 1, and the rear section of the splint part 1 is a handle section 16, the air duct 14 passes through the splint part 1 axially, and a control circuit board 17 is further provided in the handle section 16 of one of the splint part 1, in addition, control buttons 18 corresponding to the control circuit board 17 are also provided outside. The control circuit board 17 is used to control the start and stop of the electric splint and perform the mode selection. The control circuit board 17 and the control buttons 18 are arranged on the handle section 16, so that the structural layout is more compact, reasonable and in line with operating habits (holding the handle part to control the clamping and opening of the electric splint, and using the control button 18 by the thumb to perform operations such as mode switching).

In an embodiment, a spring 19 is arranged between the two splint parts 1 at an end of the handle section 16, so that the two splint parts 1 are in a normally open state. When in use, it is only necessary to manually compress the two splint parts 1, and the two splint parts will automatically open when loosened, which is convenient for use and operation.

As described with reference to FIG. 4, in an embodiment, the heating-plate component 12 includes a heat-conducting plate 121 embedded and fixed on the housing 11, a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heating body 122 and an NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) temperature control element 123 attached to the back of the heat-conducting plate 121. Furthermore, the heat-conducting plate 121 has a hollow cavity 124 along its length, and the PTC heating body 122 and the NTC temperature control element 123 are mounted in the hollow cavity 124. The hollow cavity 124 allows the PTC heating body 122 and the NTC temperature control element 123 to be mounted separately from the outside, thereby being safer and more reliable, moreover, the heat of the PTC heating body 122 is isolated by the top surface of the heat-conducting plate 121 to prevent excessive heat from entering the housing 11 and affecting the cooling effect.

In an embodiment, the comb teeth 13 have round heads at their top ends, and the comb teeth 13 are staggered on the surface of the housing 11 in a circumferential direction. The comb teeth 13 in staggered distribution make it easier to embed and fix the hair under a same density.

The above description does not impose any limitation on the technical scope of the present disclosure, and any amendment, equivalent change, and modification of the above embodiments based on the technical essence of the present disclosure still falls within the scope of the technical solution of the present disclosure.
