Claims
- 1. In a terminal comprising a forward blade contact, a rearward crimp barrel for cable end attachment, a transition which connects the blade contact and the crimp barrel and includes a side flap folded over onto a planar portion thereof, and a projection connected to the terminal by the side flap, the improvement comprising:
- said transition having a pair of side flaps connected to opposite longitudinal side edges of the planar portion of the transition and folded thereover to provide confronting longitudinal edges,
- said projection being relatively rigid and comprising two L-shaped sections arranged back-to-back in a T-shaped configuration which is disposed substantially normal to the blade contact and planar portion of the transition,
- said L-shaped sections having first legs integrally attached to the confronting longitudinal edges of the respective side flaps, and
- said L-shaped sections having second legs which are supported by the respective first legs and which are aligned transversely of the blade contact, and
- said side flaps forming gussets rearwardly of the projections which are faired into the crimp barrel.
