Claims
- 1. A shaped article having a temperature coefficient of electric resistance of .+-.10.times.10.sup.-6 /.degree.C. over a temperature range of -50.degree. C. to +600.degree. C., and comprising an electrical resistant alloy consisting essentially of 56.1 to 59.9 wt% of palladium and 43.9 to 40.1 wt% of silver and produced by shaping said electrical resistant alloy into a desired shape of wire on thin sheet by hot working and cold working, heating the shaped article at a recrystallization temperature of 500.degree. to 1,000.degree. C. in air or a non-oxidizing atmosphere or in vacuo for a time of not less than 2 seconds to not more than 100 hours, and slow cooling said shaped article to remove internal stress.
- 2. A shaped article having a temperature coefficient of electrical resistance of .+-.10.times.10.sup.-6 /.degree.C. over a temperature range of -50.degree. C. to +600.degree. C., and comprising an electrical resistant alloy consisting essentially of 56.1 to 59.9 wt% of palladium and 43.9 t 40.1 wt% of silver and produced by shaping said electrical resistant alloy into a desired shape of wire or thin sheet by hot working and cold working, heating the shaped article at a recrystallization temperature of 500.degree. to 1,100.degree. C. in air or a non-oxidizing atmosphere or in vacuo for a time of not less than 2 seconds to not more than 100 hours, slow cooling said shaped article to remove internal stress, applying or coating an insulative material on the surface of the article by an electro-deposition, vapor deposition or sputtering process, winding the coated article into a desired form, and again heating the article at a temperature of 200.degree. to 500.degree. C. for a short time to remove internal stress.
