Claims
- 1. An electroluminescence display apparatus for performing display operations by causing the electroluminescence device, which comprises the anode and cathode, to emit light, comprising:a first thin-film transistor, having a source electrode connected to a holding capacitor, a drain electrode connected to a drain signal line, and a gate electrode connected to a gate signal line; a second thin-film transistor, having a drain electrode connected to the driving power supply of said electroluminescence device, and a gate electrode connected to the source electrode of said first thin-film transistor; a first diode and a second diode, which are connected in series in a forward direction toward the an-ode of said luminescence device from said second thin-film transistor, between the source electrode of said second thin-film transistor and said anode of said electroluminescence device; and a charging capacitor, which is connected between said first diode and said second diode; said driving power supply generating a periodically changing output voltage.
- 2. The electroluminescence display apparatus according to claim 1 wherein:said electroluminescence device is a current-driven device causing an organic light emitting layer, which is sandwiched by said anode and said cathode and where holes are injected from said anode and electrons are injected from said cathode, to emit light.
