Claims
- 1. A switching apparatus for controlling a device, the switching apparatus comprising:
at least one mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switch for mechanically switching a functionality of the device, said mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switch can be operated manually and can be reset by an electrical pulse.
- 2. The switching apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switch is capable of being secured in an operational position by a magnetic force.
- 3. The switching apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switch includes:
a permanent magnet for applying the magnetic force for securing the operational position; and an electromagnet whose magnetic field can be superimposed on the magnetic field of said permanent magnet.
- 4. The switching apparatus according to claim 3, wherein said mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switch includes a spring element for supporting a resetting movement of said mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switch.
- 5. The switching apparatus according to claim 4, wherein said electromagnet is configured such that the magnetic field of said permanent magnet is temporarily reduced by the electrical pulse such that said mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switch is reset by a spring force of said spring element.
- 6. The switching apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a time-delay switching element for outputting the electrical pulse for resetting said mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switch after a preset time period.
- 7. The switching apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switch is one of a plurality of mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switches being mechanically connected to each other by a slide.
- 8. The switching apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said plurality of mechanical pushbutton momentary-contact switches are mechanically connected such that a plurality of them can be reset together by the electrical pulse.
- 9. A switching apparatus for controlling a device, the switching apparatus comprising:
a plurality of mechanical momentary-contact switches for mechanically switching a plurality of functionalities of the device, at least one of said mechanical momentary-contact switches can be operated manually and can be reset by an electrical pulse.
- 10. The switching apparatus according to claim 9, wherein at least two of said plurality of mechanical momentary-contact switches being mechanically connected to each other.
- 11. The switching apparatus according to claim 10, wherein said mechanical momentary-contact switches are mechanically connected in such a way that a plurality of them can be reset together by the electrical pulse.
- 12. The switching apparatus according to claim 9, wherein said plurality of mechanical momentary-contact switches are rocker switches.
- 13. The switching apparatus according to claim 10, further comprising a slide for mechanically connecting said at least two of said plurality of mechanical momentary-contact switches to each other.
- 14. The device according to claim 9, wherein one of said mechanical momentary-contact switches, being provided for a run-on function so that a selected functionality of the device can be switched off after a predefined time period, can be reset by the electrical pulse.
- 15. The device according to claim 14, wherein the functionalities of the device, including intensive operating stages, can be freely selectable during the run-on.
- 16. A device, comprising:
a unit selected from the group consisting of air-conditioning units and ventilation units; and a switching apparatus connected and controlling said unit, said switching apparatus containing a plurality of mechanical momentary-contact switches for mechanically switching a plurality of functionalities of the device, at least one of said mechanical momentary-contact switches can be operated manually and can be reset by an electrical pulse.
- 17. The device according to claim 16, wherein:
said unit has a plurality of intensive stages each being capable of being switched on and off by said mechanical momentary-contact switches; and one of said mechanical momentary-contact switches functions as an electrically resettable switch capable of switching off one of the intensive stages in a way which is timed using the electrical pulse.
- 18. The device according to claim 16, wherein one of said mechanical momentary-contact switches, being provided for a run-on function so that a selected functionality of the device can be switched off after a predefined time, can be reset by the electrical pulse.
- 19. The device according to claim 18, wherein the functionalities of the device, including the intensive stages, can be freely selectable during the run-on.
- 20. The device according to claim 16, wherein said mechanical momentary-contact switches are pushbutton momentary-contact switches.
- 21. The device according to claim 16, wherein the device is a domestic appliance.
