Claims
- 1. An electron gun comprising:
- a plurality of electrodes sequentially disposed along a common axis, surfaces of two of said plurality of electrodes opposing each other and being separated by a predetermined distance, at least one of said two electrodes being formed in a cup shape and having at least one projection formed on a surface thereof.
- 2. An electron gun according to claim 1, wherein said at least one projection is formed on a bottom surface of said cup-shaped electrode.
- 3. An electron gun according to claim 2, wherein said at least one projection is provided on a corner portion of said bottom surface.
- 4. An electron gun according to claim 2, wherein said at least one projection is provided on a periphery of said bottom surface.
- 5. An electron gun according to claim 1, wherein said cup-shaped electrode is a composite electrode which includes at least two electrode elements united together.
- 6. An electron gun comprising:
- a plurality of electrodes sequentially disposed along a common axis, surfaces of two of said plurality of electrodes opposing each other and being separated by a predetermined distance, said opposing surfaces of said two electrodes having at least one projection formed thereon, with at least one of said two electrodes being formed in a cup shape.
- 7. An electron gun comprising:
- a cathode;
- a first electrode;
- a second electrode;
- a third electrode;
- a fourth electrode;
- a fifth electrode for focusing voltage;
- a sixth electrode for anode voltage;
- at least one of opposing surfaces of said fourth and fifth electrodes having at least one projection formed thereon.
- 8. An electron gun comprising:
- a cathode;
- a first electrode;
- a second electrode;
- a third electrode;
- a fourth electrode;
- a fifth electrode for focusing voltage;
- a sixth electrode for anode voltage;
- wherein said fifth electrode is divided into a first portion and a second portion, at least one of opposing surfaces of said first portion and said second portion having at least one projection formed thereon.
- 9. An electron gun comprising:
- a composite electrode including at least two electrode elements united together; and
- a plurality of electrodes sequentially arrayed along an axis at predetermined intervals,
- wherein at least one of opposing faces of said at least two electrode elements of said composite electrode has projections which are united to another electrode element.
- 10. An electron gun including a plurality of electrodes sequentially arrayed along an axis at predetermined intervals comprising:
- a composite electrode including a first electrode element; and
- an intermediate electrode element and a second electrode element, both of which are united together in a stacked manner; and
- wherein at least one of the first electrode element and second electrode element of said composite electrode have projections formed thereon, with said projections being united to said intermediate electrode element.
