Electronic apparatus and unit

Abstract
An electronic apparatus has: a housing with a surface partially formed by a removably attachable lid; and a main-body connector disposed adjacent to an opening to be covered by the lid. A hard disk unit is removably inserted into the opening of the housing of the electronic apparatus. The hard disk unit has a unit connector to be mated with the main body connector. The hard disk unit includes an insulation sheet disposed between a circuit board and a support fitting. A part of the insulation sheet is extended and bent to spread on the rear surface of the support fitting so that connection between the connectors can be released when the extended part of the insulation sheet is pulled.

Claims
  • 1. An electronic apparatus comprising: a connector provided in a main body; anda unit which has a unit connector to be mated with a main-body connector and is attachable to the electronic apparatus,wherein the unit has a circuit board with circuit components mounted thereon one by one, an insulation sheet spread on the circuit board, and a support component disposed on the insulating sheet interposed between the circuit board and the support component thereby providing a strength to the unit, andthe insulating sheet has a flange section that is exposed on an edge in the unit connector side and bent to spread on a rear surface of the support component, the flange section is capable of releasing connection between the main-body connector and the unit connector by being pulled in a direction for moving the unit connector away from the main-body connector.
  • 2. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the circuit board includes a hard disk drive that contains and drives a hard disk.
  • 3. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the support component is a metal plate.
  • 4. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the flange section has such a shape that a central portion thereof in the edge where the flange section is exposed is broader than portions closer to both ends of the edge.
  • 5. A unit attachable to an electronic apparatus, comprising: a unit connector to be mated with a main-body connector when the unit is attached to the electronic apparatus;a circuit board with circuit components mounted thereon;an insulation sheet spread on the circuit board; anda support component disposed on the insulating sheet interposed between the circuit board and the support component thereby providing a strength to the unit,wherein the insulating sheet has a flange section that is exposed on an edge in the unit connector side and bent to spread on a rear surface of the support component, the flange section is capable of releasing connection between the main-body connector and the unit connector by being pulled in a direction for moving the unit connector away from the main-body connector.
