The present disclosure relates to an electronic cigarette cartridge and atomizer module, and an electronic cigarette comprising the same.
Typically, the constituents of an electronic cigarette form an inseparable unit. When the e-liquid in the atomizer is used up, the atomizer and the heating elements are discarded. This leads to waste and increased costs.
In view of the above-described problems, it is one objective of the invention to provide an electronic cigarette cartridge and atomizer module, and an electronic cigarette comprising the same.
To achieve the above objective, in accordance with one embodiment of the invention, there is provided a cartridge for electronic cigarettes comprises an e-liquid storage chamber and a sealing piece. An air guide tube is disposed in the e-liquid storage chamber. The e-liquid is filled in the e-liquid storage chamber. The sealing piece seals the e-liquid in the e-liquid storage chamber; the sealing piece is selected from a thin film, a thin sheet or an elastic plug; and the e-liquid storage chamber is sealed in a manner of hot-pressing, plugging or covering.
An atomizer module for electronic cigarettes comprises a sealing gasket, a connector, a screw seat, an insulating ring, an electrode, an atomization chamber enclosed by walls, and a heating body. The sealing gasket seals the atomization chamber. The insulating ring is disposed between the electrode and the screw seat. The heating body and the screw seat are supported by the walls enclosing the atomization chamber; two poles of the heating body are connected to the electrode and the screw seat, respectively; and the heating body is vertical to an airflow direction or parallel to an airflow direction.
In a class of this embodiment, the walls enclosing the atomization chamber are elastic material, and support and seal the heating body; the heating body is disposed in the atomization chamber, and there is no gap between the heating body and the elastic wall of the atomization chamber, so that the leakage of the e-liquid is prevented and the heating body is supported. The elastic walls of the atomization chamber and the screw seat are attached to each other so as to prevent the leakage of the e-liquid.
An electronic cigarette comprises an atomizer module and a cartridge which are combined detachably; the cartridge comprises an e-liquid storage chamber and a sealing piece. An air guide tube is disposed in the e-liquid storage chamber. The e-liquid is filled in the e-liquid storage chamber. The sealing piece seals the e-liquid in the e-liquid storage chamber.
In a class of this embodiment, the atomizer module comprises a sealing gasket, a connector, a screw seat, an insulating ring, an electrode, an atomization chamber enclosed by walls, and a heating body. The sealing gasket seals the atomization chamber. The insulating ring is disposed between the electrode and the screw seat. The heating body and the screw seat are supported by the walls enclosing the atomization chamber; two poles of the heating body are connected to the electrode and the screw seat, respectively; and the heating body is vertical to an airflow direction or parallel to an airflow direction.
In a class of this embodiment, the walls enclosing the atomization chamber are elastic material, and support and seal the heating body; the heating body is disposed in the atomization chamber, and there is no gap between the heating body and the elastic walls of the atomization chamber, so that the leakage of the e-liquid is prevented and the heating body is supported.
In a class of this embodiment, the electronic cigarette further comprises a mouthpiece module, the mouthpiece module comprises a suction nozzle, and the mouthpiece module and the walls of the e-liquid storage chamber are combined in a manner of screw, clamping or interference fit.
In a class of this embodiment, the airflow enters the atomization chamber via two air holes on the screw seat, and takes away the vapor produced by the heating body; the vapor enters the mouth of a smoker through middle holes separated from the e-liquid storage chamber; when the cartridge requires replacing, first, the sealing piece of the cartridge is removed, an opening of the sealing piece is upward, the atomizer module is inserted in the e-liquid storage chamber. The connection mode of the atomizer module and the elastic wall of the e-liquid storage chamber includes but is not limited to screw thread and clamping.
In a class of this embodiment, the airflow enters the atomization chamber via two air holes on the screw seat during working, and takes away the vapor produced by the heating body; the vapor enters the suction nozzle through the middle holes separated from the e-liquid storage chamber and then is sucked into the mouth of the smoker. When the cartridge requires replacing, first, the sealing piece is removed, the opening of the sealing piece is upward, the atomizer module is inserted in the e-liquid storage chamber, and then the mouthpiece module is inserted in the e-liquid storage chamber.
In a class of this embodiment, the mouthpiece module also comprises a middle air tube, and the middle air tube is mounted on the suction nozzle.
In a class of this embodiment, the atomizer module is of an upper intake type. The airflow enters the middle tube of the e-liquid storage chamber through an air inlet hole of the suction nozzle during working, the airflow is blown onto the heating body, and takes away the vapor produced by the heating body, the vapor enters the suction nozzle through the middle air tube and then is sucked into the mouth of the smoker.
In a class of this embodiment, the screw seat is free of an air inlet hole; when the cartridge requires replacing, first, the sealing piece is removed, the opening of the sealing piece is upward, the atomizer module is inserted in the e-liquid storage chamber, and then the mouthpiece module is inserted in the e-liquid storage chamber.
In the present disclosure, the atomizer module can be repeatedly used, and the cartridge is one-off packaged. The cartridge is replaceable, and the atomizer module is repeatedly used, thus achieving the maximum service life of the atomizer, saving the material cost and reducing the consumer's expenditure. At the same time, the waste of materials is reduced and the purpose of energy saving and environmental protection is achieved.
For further illustrating the invention, experiments detailing a cartridge, an atomizer module, and an electronic cigarette comprising the same are described below. It should be noted that the following examples are intended to describe and not to limit the invention.
A cartridge for electronic cigarettes comprises an e-liquid storage chamber 1 and a sealing piece 11. An air guide tube is disposed in the e-liquid storage chamber 1. The e-liquid is filled in the e-liquid storage chamber. The sealing piece 11 seals the e-liquid in the e-liquid storage chamber; the sealing piece 11 is selected from a thin film, a thin sheet or an elastic plug; and the e-liquid storage chamber is sealed in a manner of hot-pressing, plugging or covering.
An atomizer module for electronic cigarettes comprises a sealing gasket 2, a connector 3, a screw seat 4, an insulating ring 5, an electrode 6, an atomization chamber 7 formed by elastic walls, and a heating body 8. The heating body 8 and the screw seat 4 are supported by the elastic walls enclosing the atomization chamber 7; two poles of the heating body 8 are connected to the electrode 6 and the screw seat 4, respectively; and the heating body 8 is vertical to an airflow direction or parallel to an airflow direction.
Preferably, the elastic walls of the atomization chamber 7 support and seal the heating body 8; the heating body 8 is disposed in the atomization chamber 7, and there is no gap between the heating body 8 and the elastic walls of the atomization chamber 7, so that the leakage of the e-liquid is prevented and the effect of supporting the heating body 8 is achieved. The elastic walls of the atomization chamber 7 and the screw seat 4 are attached to each other so as to prevent the leakage of the e-liquid.
An electronic cigarette comprises an atomizer module and a cartridge which are combined detachably; the cartridge comprises an e-liquid storage chamber 1 and a sealing piece 11. An air guide tube is disposed in the e-liquid storage chamber 1. The e-liquid is filled in the e-liquid storage chamber. The sealing piece 11 seals the e-liquid in the e-liquid storage chamber.
Preferably, the atomizer module comprises a sealing gasket 2, a connector 3, a screw seat 4, an insulating ring 5, an electrode 6, an atomization chamber 7 formed by an elastic wall, and a heating body 8. The heating body 8 and the screw seat 4 are supported by the elastic wall enclosing the atomization chamber 7; two poles of the heating body 8 are connected to the electrode 6 and the screw seat 4, respectively; and the heating body 8 can be placed in a direction vertical to the airflow direction or parallel to an airflow direction.
Preferably, the elastic wall of the atomization chamber 7 supports and seals the heating body 8; the heating body 8 is disposed in the atomization chamber 7, and there is no gap between the heating body 8 and the elastic wall of the atomization chamber 7, so that the leakage of the e-liquid is prevented and the heating body 8 is supported.
Preferably, the electronic cigarette further comprises a mouthpiece module, the mouthpiece module comprises a suction nozzle 10, and the mouthpiece module and the walls of the e-liquid storage chamber 1 are combined in a manner of screw, clamping or interference fit.
Preferably, the airflow enters the atomization chamber 7 via two air holes on the screw seat 4, and takes away the vapor produced by the heating body 8; the vapor enters the mouth of a smoker through middle holes separated from the e-liquid storage chamber 1; when the cartridge requires replacing, first, the sealing piece 11 of the cartridge is removed, an opening of the sealing piece is upward, the atomizer module is inserted in the e-liquid storage chamber 1. The connection mode of the atomizer module and the elastic wall of the e-liquid storage chamber includes but is not limited to screw thread and clamping.

Preferably, the mouthpiece module also comprises a middle air tube 9, and the middle air tube 9 is mounted on the suction nozzle 10.
The atomizer is of an upper intake type. The airflow enters the middle tube of the e-liquid storage chamber 1 through an air inlet hole of the suction nozzle 10 during working, the airflow is blown onto the heating body 8, and takes away the vapor produced by the heating body 8, the vapor enters the suction nozzle 10 through the middle air tube 9 and then is sucked into the mouth of the smoker.
Preferably, the screw seat 4 is free of an air inlet hole; when the cartridge requires replacing, first, the sealing piece 11 is removed, the opening of the sealing piece is upward, the atomizer module is inserted in the e-liquid storage chamber 1, and then the mouthpiece module is inserted in the e-liquid storage chamber.

Moreover, the atomizer module comprises the sealing gaskets 2, the connector 3, the screw seat 4, the insulating ring 5, the electrode 6, the atomization chamber 7 and the heating body 8. The walls enclosing the atomization chamber 7 are made of the elastic material, and support the heating body 8 and the screw seat 4. Two poles of the heating body 8 are connected to the electrode 6 and the screw seat 4 respectively; and the heating body 8 can be placed in the direction vertical to the airflow direction and also can be placed in the direction parallel to an airflow direction.
In the embodiment, the mouthpiece module, which is an optional component, comprises the suction nozzle 10 (optional) and the middle air tube 9 (optional). The middle air tube 9 is mounted (including but not limited to connection modes such as interference fit and screw) on the suction nozzle 10.

first, the present disclosure provides an electronic cigarette with a replaceable cartridge;
second, the electronic cigarette of the present disclosure (which can be provided with a mouthpiece module) comprises the atomizer module and the e-liquid storage chamber, and the wall materials of the e-liquid storage chamber include but not limited to plastic, metal or silica gel.
third, the cartridge in the present disclosure comprises the e-liquid storage chamber and the sealing piece.
fourth, the electronic cigarette of the present disclosure has two variant forms:
fifth, the walls enclosing the atomization chamber of the atomizer module are made of elastic material, and the walls support and seal the heating body 8 and the screw seat, preventing the leakage of the e-liquid; and
sixth, the heating body 8 in the present disclosure is placed in the direction vertical to the airflow direction or in the direction parallel to an airflow direction.
While particular embodiments of the invention have been shown and described, it will be obvious to those skilled in the art that changes and modifications may be made without departing from the invention in its broader aspects, and therefore, the aim in the appended claims is to cover all such changes and modifications as fall within the true spirit and scope of the invention.
