In a non-limiting embodiment with specific reference to
Magnets 106 in one or both sides 104 of the oven lid 92 and corresponding magnets 108 hold the oven lid 92 closed when the oven lid 92 is moved to its closed position. Because the sides 104 of the oven lid 92 and the sides 96 of the oven lid seat 100 are mated at an angle in relation to the walls 98 of the oven 94, when the oven lid 92 is moved up out of its seat 100, the respective magnets 106, 108 begin to repel each other and push the oven lid 92 toward its open position and maintain the oven lid 92 in an open position until a user forcibly presses against the open oven lid 92 in a direction to close the oven lid 92 back toward the oven seat 100 and the closed position. When the force pressing the oven lid 92 closed overcomes the magnetic repulsion caused by the magnets 106, 108 and the oven lid 92 gets close enough to the oven lid seat 100, the magnets 106, 108 again begin to attract each other pulling the oven lid 92 closed against the oven lid seat 100. Particular embodiments may position the particular oven opening sides 96 at various angles with respect to a top surface 110 of the cigarette housing 91. Operable angles include 40 to 80 degrees, although angles of between 60 to 75 degrees provide a strong attraction and repulsion. Rare earth magnets work well, although any permanent magnet may be used.
The cigarette housing 91 includes, adjacent to the oven opening, first 112 and second 114 pivot receivers for the first 116 and second 118 pivots of the oven lid 92. A first pivot receiver 112 is enclosed (
One or more embodiments of an electronic cigarette 90 further comprise a slidable switch 130 coupled to the housing 92 and slidable between a first switch position (
A temperature sensor 136 may be positioned to extend into the oven 94 of the electronic cigarette 90 (
It will be understood that implementations are not limited to the specific components disclosed herein, as virtually any components consistent with the intended operation of a method and/or system implementation for electronic cigarette may be utilized. Accordingly, for example, although particular electronic cigarettes may be disclosed, such components may comprise any shape, size, style, type, model, version, class, grade, measurement, concentration, material, weight, quantity, and/or the like consistent with the intended operation of a method and/or system implementation for an electronic cigarette may be used.
In places where the description above refers to particular implementations of electronic cigarettes it should be readily apparent that a number of modifications may be made without departing from the spirit thereof and that these implementations may be applied to other electronic cigarettes. The accompanying claims are intended to cover such modifications as would fall within the true spirit and scope of the disclosure set forth in this document. The presently disclosed implementations are, therefore, to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive, the scope of the disclosure being indicated by the appended claims rather than the foregoing description. All changes that come within the meaning of and range of equivalency of the claims are intended to be embraced therein.
