1. Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to an electronic devices and a control method for the electronic device.
2. Description of Related Art
An electronic device, such as a notebook, comprises a base and a cover rotatably attached to the base. Some confidential data is stored in the electronic device, so that the cover needs to be rotatable relative to the base for security. Therefore, there is room for improvement within the art.
Many aspects of the embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, like-reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
The disclosure is illustrated by way of example and not by way of limitation in the figures of the accompanying drawings in which like references indicate similar elements. It should be noted that references to “an” or “one” embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean “at least one.”
The cover 20 comprises a rotating end 21 and an opposite free end 22. The rotating end 21 is rotatably attached to the base 10. An identification unit 23 is located on the cover 20. In one embodiment, the identification unit 23 is set as a logo of the electronic device, and is enclosed by a nanometer carbon tube. A pair of securing members 25 is located on opposite sides of the free end 22. The pair of securing members 25 are magnetic.
A pair of electromagnetic members 11, corresponding to the pair of securing members 25, are located on the base 10. An analyzing unit 12 and a control unit 13 are located in the base 10. The analyzing unit 12 is connected to the identification unit 23. The control unit 13 is connected to the analyzing unit 12 and the electromagnetic members 11.
The analyzing unit 12 is used to analyze whether a finger belongs to an authorized person according to the sensing signals that are generated by the identification unit 23, so that the analyzing unit 12 can generate different control signals. For example, when the analyzing unit 12 analyzes the finger belongs to the authorized person, the analyzing unit 12 analyzes a style of the gesture to generate a first control signal which is sent to the control unit 13, and the control unit 13 controls the electronic device according to the first control signal. When the analyzing unit 12 analyzes the finger does not belong to an authorized person, the analyzing unit 12 sends a second (lock) control signal different from the first control signal to the control unit 13 which locks the electronic device.
The different control signals generated from the analyzing unit 12 further comprises a Galvanical signal and a cold signal that is different from the first and second control signals. The Galvanical signal and the cold signal are used to control the pair of electromagnetic members 11. For example, when the authorized person uses the first gesture, the analyzing unit 12 sends the Galvanical signal of the electromagnetic members 11 to the control unit 13. The control unit 13 powers on the electromagnetic members 11 thus generating a magnetic force. When the cover 20 covers the base 10, the electromagnetic members 11 attract the securing members 25, and the cover 20 is secured to the base 10. When the authorized person uses the second gesture, the analyzing unit 12 sends the cold signal of the electromagnetic members 11 to the control unit 13. The control unit 13 powers off the electromagnetic members 11 according to the cold signal, and the magnetic force of the electromagnetic members 11 is dissipated. Thus, the electromagnetic members 11 do not attract the securing members 25, and the cover 10 can be rotatable relative to the base 10.
S401: the identification unit 23 sensors the gesture and generates a sensing signal to send it to the analyzing unit 12.
S402: the analyzing unit 12 analyzes whether the finger belongs to an authorized user.
S403: the analyzing unit 12 sends the second signal to a control unit 13 which locks the electronic device.
S404: the analyzing unit 12 analyzes a style of the gestures to generate different control signals, which are sent to the control unit 13.
S405: the control unit 13 controls the electronic device according to the different control signals.
S501: when the analyzing unit 12 analyzes the first gesture, the analyzing unit 12 sends the Galvanical signal of the electromagnetic members 11 to the control unit 13. The control unit 13 powers on the electromagnetic members 11, so that a magnetic force is generated.
S502: When the analyzing unit 12 analyzes the second gesture, the analyzing unit 12 sends the cold signal of the electromagnetic members 11 to the control unit 13. The control unit 13 powers off the electromagnetic members 11 and the magnetic force of the electromagnetic members 11 is dissipated.
It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages have been set forth in the foregoing description of embodiments, together with details of the structures and functions of the embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only and changes may be made in detail, especially in the matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the disclosure to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
