Linear shading figurative effects in FIGS. 7-11, and fine stipple shading (stippling) figurative effects in FIGS. 1-5, 13-17, and 19-20, are meant to portray the illusion of varying degrees of surface shadow and thereby to show the contour of the surfaces, without claiming any particular pattern, texture, or color.
