Claims
- 1. A chord output apparatus for outputting a chord corresponding to fingering on a fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard corresponding to the fingering;
- memory means for storing the two-dimensional relative positions between one of the two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard as a reference position and relative two-dimensional positions of another fingering position with respect to the reference position and an associated chord type;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be outputted based on a root position determined according to one of the two-dimensional operation positions detected by said operated position detecting means; and
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be outputted based on a two-dimensional relative positional relationship between the root position and the detected two-dimensional operation positions other than the root position and a memory content of said memory means.
- 2. A chord output apparatus for analyzing fingering on a fingerboard to output a chord corresponding to the fingering comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional positions of operations done by fingering on a fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be output based on one of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- defining means for defining fixed relationships between numbers of operation positions detected by said operation portion detecting means and a type of a chord; and
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be output based on the number of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means and a corresponding fixed relationship defined by said defining means.
- 3. An automatic accompaniment apparatus for performing an automatic accompaniment corresponding to a chord designated by fingering on a fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard corresponding to the fingering;
- memory means for storing the two-dimensional relative positions between one of the two-dimensional positions on the fingerboard as a reference position and relative two-dimensional positions of another fingering position with respect to the reference position and an associated chord type;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be outputted based on a root position determined according to one of the two-dimensional operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be outputted based on two-dimensional relative positional relationship between the root position and the detected two-dimensional operation positions other than the root position and a memory content of said memory means;
- automatic accompaniment pattern outputting means for outputting an automatic accompaniment pattern; and
- automatic accompanying means for performing an automatic accompaniment based on (i) the automatic accompaniment pattern outputted from said automatic accompaniment pattern outputting means, (ii) the root determined by said root determining means, and (iii) the chord type determined by said chord type determining means.
- 4. An automatic accompaniment apparatus having a fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional positions of operations done by fingering on a fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be output based on one of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be output based on the number of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- automatic accompaniment pattern outputting means for outputting an automatic accompaniment pattern; and
- automatic accompanying means for performing an automatic accompaniment based on (i) the automatic accompaniment pattern outputted from said automatic by said root determining means, and (iii) the chord type determined by said chord type determining means.
- 5. An automatic accompaniment apparatus having a fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional positions of operations done by fingering on a fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be output based on one of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be output based on the number of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means and a relationship between the operation positions;
- automatic accompaniment pattern outputting means for outputting an automatic accompaniment pattern; and
- automatic accompanying means for performing an automatic accompaniment based on (i) the automatic accompaniment pattern outputted from said automatic accompaniment pattern outputting means, (ii) the root determined by said root determining means, and (iii) the chord type determined by said chord type determining means.
- 6. An electronic stringed instrument having strings and a fingerboard for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord determined by fingering on the fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard corresponding to the fingering;
- memory means for storing the two-dimensional relative positions between one of the two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard as a reference position and relative two-dimensional positions of another fingering position with respect to the reference position and an associated chord type;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be outputted based on a root position determined according to one of the two-dimensional operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be outputted based on two-dimensional relative positional relationship between the root position and the detected two-dimensional operation positions other than the root position and a memory content of said memory means;
- plucking detecting means detecting plucking of the strings; and
- tone generating means for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord specified by the root determined by said root determining means and the chord type determined by said chord type determining means at a timing at which the plucking is detecting by said plucking detecting means.
- 7. An electronic stringed instrument having strings and a fingerboard for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord designated by fingering on the fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional positions of operations done by fingering on said fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be output based on one of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be output based on the number of operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- plucking detecting means for detecting plucking of the strings; and
- tone generating means for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord specified by the root determined by said root determining means and the chord type determined by said chord type determining means at a timing at which the plucking is detected by said plucking detecting means.
- 8. An electronic stringed instrument having strings and a fingerboard for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord designated by fingering on the fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional positions of operations done by fingering on said fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be output based one of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- chord type determining means for determining a type of chord to be output based on the number of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means and a relationship between the operation positions;
- plucking detecting means for detecting plucking of the strings; and
- tone generating means for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord specified by the root determined by said root determining means and the chord type determined by said chord type determining means at a timing at which the plucking is detected by said plucking detecting means.
- 9. A chord output apparatus for outputting a chord corresponding to fingering on a fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard corresponding to the fingering;
- defining means for defining fixed relationships between a type of a chord and two-dimensional relative positions of other operation positions with respect to a reference position which is one of the two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be outputted based on a root position determined according to one of the two-dimensional operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means; and
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be outputted based on two-dimensional relative positions between the root position and the detected two-dimensional operation positions other than the root position and a corresponding fixed relationship defined by said defining means.
- 10. An automatic accompaniment apparatus for performing an automatic accompaniment corresponding to a chord designated by fingering on a fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard corresponding to the fingering;
- defining means for defining fixed relationships between a type of a chord and two-dimensional relative positions of other operation positions with respect to a reference position which is one of the two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be outputted based on a root position determined according to one of the two-dimensional operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- chord type determining means for determining at type of a chord to be outputted based on two-dimensional relative positions between the root position and the detected two-dimensional operation positions other than the root position and a corresponding fixed relationship defined by said defining means;
- automatic accompaniment pattern outputting means for outputting an automatic accompaniment pattern; and
- automatic accompanying means for performing an automatic accompaniment based on (i) the automatic accompaniment pattern outputted from said automatic accompaniment pattern outputting means, (ii) the root determined by said root determining means, and (iii) the chord type determined by said chord type determining means.
- 11. An electronic stringed instrument having strings and a fingerboard for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord designated by fingering on the fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard corresponding to the fingering;
- defining means for defining fixed relationships between a type of a chord and two-dimensional relative positions of other operation positions with respect to a reference position which is one of the two-dimensional operation positions on the fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be outputted based on a root position determined according to one of the two-dimensional operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be outputted based on two-dimensional relative positions between the root position and the detected two-dimensional operation positions other than the root position and a corresponding fixed relationship defined by said defining means;
- plucking detecting means for detecting plucking of the strings; and
- tone generating means for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord specified by the root determined by said root determining means and the chord type determined by said chord type determining means at a timing at which the plucking is detected by said plucking means.
- 12. An automatic accompaniment apparatus having a fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional positions of operations done by fingering on a fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be output based on one of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- defining means for defining fixed relationships between the number of operation positions and a type of a chord;
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be outputted based on the number of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means and a corresponding fixed relationship defined by said defining means;
- automatic accompaniment pattern outputting means for outputting an automatic accompaniment pattern; and automatic accompanying means for performing an automatic accompaniment based on (i) the automatic accompaniment pattern outputted from said automatic accompaniment pattern outputting means, (ii) the root determined by said root determining means, and (iii) the chord type determined by said chord type determining means.
- 13. An electronic stringed instrument having strings and a fingerboard for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord designated by fingering on the fingerboard, comprising:
- operation position detecting means for detecting two-dimensional positions of operations done by fingering on said fingerboard;
- root determining means for determining a root of a chord to be outputted based on one of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means;
- defining means for defining fixed relationships between the number of operation positions and a type of a chord;
- chord type determining means for determining a type of a chord to be output based on the number of the operation positions detected by said operation position detecting means and a corresponding fixed relationship defined by said defining means;
- plucking detecting means for detecting plucking of the strings; and
- tone generating means for generating a musical tone corresponding to a chord specified by the root determined by said root determining means and the chord type determined by said chord type determined means at the timing at which the plucking is detected by said plucking detecting means.
