- 6. An electronic timepiece according to claim 1, further comprising means for generating an output control signal in response to said indexing signal, said secondary register means being responsive to said output control signal for transferring one of said sets of alarm time data to said primary register means to permit updating thereof.
- 7. An electronic timepiece according to claim 1, further comprising means for generating a vacant register location signal, when said secondary register means is in said alarm time indexing mode, said secondary register means being responsive to said vacant register location signal to transfer vacant data in said vacant register location to said primary register means.
- 8. An electronic timepiece according to claim 7, further comprising means for enabling said secondary register means whereby, in the absence of said vacant register location in said secondary register means, said secondary register means is enabled to transfer the most recently entered set of alarm time data to said primary register means, to be there by displayed by said display means.
- 9. An electronic timepiece according to claim 1, wherein said timepiece is operable in a normal mode of operation in which said sets of alarm time data stored in said secondary register means are successively and automatically transferred to said primary register, and further comprising means for comparing rach of the alarm times represented by each of said sets of alarm time data with said current time and for producing an alarm signal when coincidence occurs therebetween.
- 10. An electronic timepiece comprising:
- a primary timepiece circuit unit including a source of a relatively high frequency signal, a frequency converter responsive to said reltively high frequency signal for producing a relatively low frequency time unit signal, timing signals, and a plurality of word timing pulses, primary register means including a plurality of shift register stages responsive to said timing signals for storing data, said data comprising current data and additional data other than said current time data, adder circuit means coupled in said primary register means and responsive to said time unit signal for periodically updating said current time data, and display means including a plurality of display elements for displaying said time data and additional data;
- externally actuated means for producing an input signal;
- means for producing an indexing signal in response to said input signal; and
- secondary register means arranged to store a plurality of sets of data, and operable to transfer each of said sets of data to said primary register means in a sequential manner to form said additional data in response to said indexing signal, whereby each of said sets of data is sequentially displayed by said display means.
