Claims
- 1. A method for locating a tumor in a patient, the method comprising the steps of:
labeling human embryonic stem cells with a biocompatible label; administering the labeled embryonic stem cells to the patient via intravenous injection; and detecting the labeled embryonic stem cells to thereby identify tumors in the patient where the labeled embryonic stem cells have accumulated.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the embryonic stem cells are prepared by introducing embryonic stem cells into a chemically defined culture medium containing a growth factor, applying a microcurrent to the culture medium containing the stem cells, and incubating the culture medium containing the stem cells at a temperature from about 34° C. to about 42° C.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the hematopoietic stem cells and the neuronal stem cells are extracted from a human embryo.
