Claims
- 1. A wall-mounted shelving system, comprisinga. at least two elongated standards secured to a wall and each elongated standard having a vertical axis, said standards containing a plurality of slots extending along said vertical axis; b. at least one rigid one-piece shelf having a plurality of ends; and c. a plurality of end brackets removably connected with said standards via said slots, said end brackets including a channel, a clamping member, and a pivot pin, with said clamping member connected with said channel by said pivot pin such that rotation of said clamping member around said pivot pin wedges the end of said shelf between the clamping member and said channel and thus said ends of said shelf are removably connected with said end brackets.
- 2. A shelving system as defined in claim 1, and further comprising spacers located between the wall and the rear edge of said shelf, wherein said spacers prevent swaying and rotation of said end brackets and shelf relative to said standard axes.
- 3. A wall-mounted shelving system, comprisinga. at least two elongated standards secured to a wall and each elongated standard having a vertical axis, said standards containing a plurality of slots extending along said vertical axis; b. at least one rigid one-piece shelf having a plurality of ends; and c. a plurality of end brackets removably connected with said standards via said slots, said end brackets including a channel, a clamping member with a clamping foot portion, a pivot pin, and a set screw latch mechanism with said clamping member connected with said channel by said pivot pin such that rotation of said clamping member around said pivot pin wedges said end of said shelf between said channel and said clamping foot portion, said clamping foot portion being held in the clamped position by said set screw latch mechanism, and thus said ends of said shelf are removably connected with said end brackets.
- 4. A shelving system as defined in claim 3, and further comprising spacers located between the wall and the rear edge of said shelf, wherein said spacers prevent swaying and rotation of said end brackets and shelf relative to said standard axes.
- 5. A wall-mounted shelving system, comprisinga. at least two elongated standards secured to a wall and each elongated standard having a vertical axis, said standards containing a plurality of slots extending along said vertical axis; b. at least one rigid one-piece shelf having a plurality of ends; and c. a plurality of end brackets removably connected with said standards via said slots, said end brackets including a channel with an opening, and a latching screw fastener with a stud that rotates in said opening in said channel such that rotating said stud wedges said shelf against said channel and said shelf ends are thus removably connected with said end brackets.
- 6. A shelving system as defined in claim 5, and further comprising spacers located between the wall and the rear edge of said shelf, wherein said spacers prevent swaying and rotation of said end brackets and shelf relative to said standard axes.
