Claims
- 1. An endoscope apparatus comprising:
- an endoscope with a built-in solid state imaging device at a distal end portion of an insertion tube without an optical lens system adjacent to the solid state imaging device; and
- a distal end optical adapter detachably connected to the distal end portion of the insertion tube of said endoscope, the distal end optical adapter having a plurality of objective optical systems to form a plurality of optical images on the image-pickup surface of the solid state imaging device, wherein directions of visual fields of the plurality of objective optical systems provided in said distal end optical adapter are different with respect to each other.
- 2. An endoscope apparatus according to claim 1, wherein some of the plurality of objective optical systems provided in said distal end optical adapter are direct sight types facing an insertion direction and some of the plurality of objective optical systems are side sight types facing a perpendicular direction to the insertion direction.
- 3. An endoscope apparatus according to claim 1, wherein some of the plurality of objective optical systems provided in said distal end optical adapter are direct sight types facing an insertion direction and some of the plurality of objective optical systems are inclined sight types facing inclined directions to the insertion direction with respect to each other.
- 4. An endoscope apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of objective optical systems provided in said distal end optical adapter are inclined sight types facing inclined directions to the insertion direction with respect to each other.
- 5. An endoscope apparatus according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the plurality of objective optical systems of the distal end optical adapter includes gravity direction detecting means for detecting a gravity direction.
- 6. An endoscope apparatus comprising:
- an endoscope with a built-in solid state imaging device at a distal end portion of an insertion tube without an optical lens system adjacent to the solid state imaging device;
- a first distal end optical adapter and a second distal end optical adapter detachably connectable to the distal end portion of the insertion tube of said endoscope, the first distal end optical adapter having one objective optical system to form an optical image on an image pickup surface of the solid state imaging device, and the second distal end optical adapter having a plurality of objective optical systems to form a plurality of optical images on the image-pickup surface of the solid state imaging device; and
- a control device to control display of the optical images on a monitor, the control device having image selecting means for selecting one of the plurality of optical images.
- 7. An endoscope apparatus according to claim 6, wherein a quantity of illumination light emanated from a light source to light guides provided in said endoscope is adjusted based on luminance information of an electric signal in which the optical image selected by said image selecting means is photoelectrically converted.
- 8. An endoscope apparatus comprising:
- an endoscope with a built-in solid state imaging device at a distal end portion of an insertion tube without an optical lens system adjacent to the solid state imaging device; and
- a first distal end optical adapter and a second distal end optical adapter detachably connectable to the distal end portion of the insertion tube of said endoscope, the first distal end optical adapter having one objective optical system to form an optical image on an image pickup surface of the solid state imaging device and an illumination optical system corresponding to the one objective optical system, and the second distal end optical adapter having a plurality of objective optical systems to form a plurality of optical images on the image-pickup surface of the solid state imaging device and a plurality of illumination optical systems respectively corresponding to the plurality of objective optical systems,
- wherein said endoscope includes a light guide to provide illumination light to each illumination optical system provided in said first and second distal end optical adapters.
- 9. An endoscope apparatus comprising:
- an endoscope with a built-in solid state imaging device at a distal end portion of an insertion tube without an optical lens system adjacent to the solid state imaging device; and
- a distal end optical adapter detachably connected to the distal end portion of the insertion tube of said endoscope, the distal end optical adapter having a plurality of objective optical systems to form a plurality of optical images on the image-pickup surface of the solid state imaging device and a plurality of illumination optical systems respectively corresponding to the plurality of objective optical systems,
- wherein said endoscope includes a plurality of light guides to respectively provide illumination light to the corresponding illumination optical systems provided in said distal end optical adapter.
- 10. An endoscope apparatus according to claim 9, wherein a plurality of lamps corresponding to the plurality of light guides provided in the endoscope, respectively are provided in a light source.
- 11. An endoscope apparatus according to claim 10, wherein the plurality of lamps provided in said light source correspond to the light guides provided in said endoscope in a one to one ratio, and the quantity of illumination light supplied from each of said lamps to the corresponding light guide is independently controlled.
