Claims
- 1. A pop-in extended travel single roller assembly comprising:
an outer housing; an inner housing pivotally mounted within said outer housing; a single grooved roller wheel wherein said wheel is rotatably mounted in said inner housing; and, an adjustment mechanism to pivot said inner housing inside said outer housing causing vertical movement of said wheel.
- 2. The roller assembly of claim 1 further comprising a bump and a detent mounted on said inner housing and said outer housing wherein said bump and said detent act in cooperation to retain said wheel within said outer housing.
- 3. The roller assembly of claim 1 wherein said adjustment mechanism is a threaded shaft having a head capable of receiving a rotational force.
- 4. The roller assembly of claim 3 wherein said outer housing has a threaded hole to receive said threaded shaft, wherein said hole is positioned to direct said threaded shaft to contact said inner housing.
- 5. The roller assembly of claim 4 wherein said inner housing is a triangular shape having an apex, and a base having a first base corner and a second base corner.
- 6. The roller assembly of claim 5 wherein said inner housing has said single grooved roller wheel mounted at its apex.
- 7. The roller assembly of claim 6 wherein said inner housing has a push contact mounted in said first base corner, wherein said push contact is in cooperative contact with said threaded shaft to displace said wheel.
- 8. The roller assembly of claim 7 wherein a pin is mounted in said second base corner, wherein said mounting maximizes the effect of said threaded shaft upon displacement of said wheel.
- 9. The roller assembly of claim 8 further comprising a bump and a detent mounted on said inner housing and said outer housing wherein said bump and said detent act in cooperation to retain said wheel within said outer housing.
- 10. A pop-in extended travel single roller assembly and sliding frame assembly comprising:
a sliding frame having an opening designed to receive said pop-in extended travel single roller assembly which comprises; an outer housing having protrusions, wherein said outer housing fits within said opening in said sliding frame wherein said protrusions prevents exit of said outer housing from said opening; an inner housing pivotally mounted within said outer housing; a single grooved roller wheel wherein said wheel is rotatably mounted in said inner housing; and, an adjustment mechanism to pivot said inner housing inside said outer housing causing vertical movement of said wheel.
- 11. The roller assembly of claim 10 wherein said adjustment mechanism is a threaded shaft having a head capable of receiving a rotational force.
- 12. The roller assembly of claim 11 wherein said outer housing has a threaded hole to receive said threaded shaft, wherein said hole is positioned to direct said threaded shaft to contact said inner housing.
- 13. The roller assembly of claim 12 wherein said inner housing is a triangular shape having an apex, and a base having a first base corner and a second base corner.
- 14. The roller assembly of claim 13 wherein said inner housing has said single grooved roller wheel mounted at its apex.
- 15. The roller assembly of claim 14 wherein said inner housing has a push contact mounted in said first base corner, wherein said push contact is in cooperative contact with said threaded shaft to displace said wheel.
- 16. The roller assembly of claim 15 wherein a pin is mounted in said second base corner, wherein said mounting maximizes the effect of said threaded shaft upon displacement of said wheel.
- 17. The roller assembly of claim 10 further comprising a bump and a detent mounted on said inner housing and said outer housing wherein said bump and said detent act in cooperation to retain said wheel within said outer housing.
- 18. A pop-in extended travel single roller assembly comprising:
an outer housing assembly with an outer housing; an inner housing assembly comprising an inner housing, a push contact and pivot pin; a single grooved roller wheel mounted in said inner housing assembly and retained by a rivet; and means for adjusting said inner housing inside said outer housing thereby raising or lowering said wheel.
- 19. The roller assembly of claim 18 wherein said means for adjusting said wheel comprises and adjusting screw and nut so that in the wheel full-up position, said adjusting screw is fully retracted in said adjusting screw nut and the push contact point of said push contact in said inner housing assembly is in contact with the end of said adjusting screw, in this full-up position, said inner housing assembly is prevented from dropping out of the position by a holding means.
- 20. The roller assembly of claim 19 wherein said holding means comprises a male bump and a female detent.
