Claims
- 1. An envelope machine, comprising:
- a. an elongated frame,
- b. a conveyor mounted in the frame for carrying longitudinally of the frame envelope blanks having window openings,
- c. a window applicator mounted on the frame above the conveyor and spaced upstream a substantial distance from the discharge end of the conveyor, the window applicator dropping a window patch toward the conveyor irrespective of whether an envelope blank is present or not,
- d. a roller forming a part of the conveyor at the discharge end and having suction passages, and
- e. means operative when an envelope blank is missing to apply suction to the roller to carry a window patch around the roller to the underside of the conveyor.
