ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION PAPER CUP WITH A COVER

Abstract

An environmental protection paper cup with a cover, comprises a cup body; an inner side of the cup body near an opening of the cup body having an annular recess; a cup cover having a protruding annular ring at a lateral side thereof; the protruding annular ring can be buckled into the annular recess of the cup body so as to combine the cup cover to the cup body tightly. The cup body is made of paper. One upper side of the cup cover near an edge thereof has handle. A trademark or advertisement design can be printed thereon. A surface of the cup cover is formed with wavelike shape so as to increase the strength of the cup cover. In an upper side of the annular recess, the cup body has an annular protruding portion so that the cup cover can be tightly engaged to the cup body.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to cups, and particularly to an environmental protection paper cup with a cover, wherein the present invention can be made easily with lower cost. The handle in the cup causes that the user can lift the cup cover easily. Furthermore, trademarks or advertisement designs can be printed thereon so as to have preferred effects. Furthermore, the cup of the present invention is made of environmental protection materials, such as papers which can be decomposed by nature and can be reused.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the prior art disposable paper cups or plastic cups for quick foods, or breakfasts, etc., as illustrated in FIG. 1, a cover is used to cover the cups so that the user can carry the cups easily without any liquid flowing out.

However generally, the cover is plastics even the cup is made of paper. The plastic is flexible so as to be retained in an upper edge of the cup, but the plastic is not an environmental protection material. It can not decompose naturally.

If it is desired to use a paper cover to replace the plastic cover, the paper cover must be designed to be well retained to the cup.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide an environmental protection paper cup with a cover, wherein the present invention can be made easily with lower cost. The prior art manufacturing process can be used. The handle in the cup causes that the user can lift the cup cover easily. Furthermore, trademarks or advertisement designs can be printed thereon so as to have preferred effects. Furthermore, the cup of the present invention is made of environmental protection materials, such as papers which can be decomposed by nature and can be reused.

To achieve above objects, the present invention provides an environmental protection paper cup with a cover, comprising: a cup body being a container; an inner side of the cup body near an opening of the cup body having an annular recess; a cup cover having a protruding annular ring at a lateral side thereof; the protruding annular ring can be buckled into the annular recess of the cup body so as to combine the cup cover to the cup body tightly. The cup body is made of paper. One upper side of the cup cover near an edge thereof having a handle. A trademark or advertisement design can be printed thereon. A surface of the cup cover is formed with wavelike shape so as to increase the strength of the cup cover. In an upper side of the annular recess, the cup body has an annular protruding portion so that the cup cover can be tightly engaged to the cup body. A retaining sheet is protruded from one side of the cup cover; an upper edge of the cup body has a notch; and the retaining sheet can be engaged to the notch of the cup body.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

The environmental protection paper cup with a cover of the present invention will be described herein with reference to FIG. 2.

A cup body 10 has a container. An inner side of the cup body 10 near an opening of the cup body 10 has an annular recess 11.

A cup cover 20 has a protruding annular ring 22 at a lateral side thereof. The protruding annular ring 22 can be buckled into the annular recess 11 of the cup body 10 so as to combine the cup cover 20 to the cup body 10 tightly. One upper side of the cup cover 20 near an edge thereof has a handle 21.

Referring to FIG. 3, an assembly view of the present invention is illustrated. The cup cover 20 is detachable from the cup body 10. A trademark or advertisement design can be printed thereon.

Referring to FIG. 4, a cross sectional view of the present invention is illustrated.

Referring to FIG. 4, it is illustrated that in an upper side of the annular recess 11, the cup body 10 has an annular protruding portion so that the cup cover 20 can be tightly engaged to the cup body 10. No liquid flows out.

Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, the when the cup cover 20 is assembled to the cup body 10, the surface of the cup cover 20 is formed with wavelike shape so as to increase the strength of the cup cover 20.

Referring to FIG. 7, the second embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. In this embodiment, those identical to the above embodiment will not be further described herein. Only those different from above embodiment are described. In this embodiment, a retaining sheet 23 is protruded from one side of the cup cover 20. An upper edge of the cup body 10 has a notch 12. The retaining sheet 23 can be engaged to the notch 12 of the cup body 10.

FIG. 8 shows the assembled view of FIG. 7. and FIG. 9 shows the application of FIG. 7.

Referring to FIG. 10 shows the application of the cup illustrated in FIG. 7 of the present invention. In overlapping a plurality of cups of the present invention, the cup cover 20 can be opened with the retaining sheet 23 is retained in the notch 12. Then all the cups are overlapped one by one with one cup is received by another one.

Advantages of the present invention will be described herein. The present invention can be made easily with lower cost. The prior art manufacturing process can be used. The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. An environmental protection paper cup with a cover, comprising: a cup body being a container; an inner side of the cup body near an opening of the cup body having an annular recess;a cup cover having a protruding annular ring at a lateral side thereof; the protruding annular ring can be buckled into the annular recess of the cup body so as to combine the cup cover to the cup body tightly.

2. The environmental protection paper cup with a cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cup body is made of paper.

3. The environmental protection paper cup with a cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein one upper side of the cup cover near an edge thereof has a handle.

4. The environmental protection paper cup with a cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein a trademark or advertisement design can be printed thereon.

5. The environmental protection paper cup with a cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein a surface of the cup cover is formed with wavelike shape so as to increase the strength of the cup cover.

6. The environmental protection paper cup with a cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein in an upper side of the annular recess, the cup body has an annular protruding portion so that the cup cover can be tightly engaged to the cup body.

7. The environmental protection paper cup with a cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein a retaining sheet is protruded from one side of the cup cover; an upper edge of the cup body has a notch; and the retaining sheet can be engaged to the notch of the cup body.
